It would be an overpay.

I think this was a strength of Project 70 that didn't happen enough: talented artist with a local connection to a player capturing a vibe in a visually-appealing way.

Saw Pardee is still making P70 companion cards. Not sure who's buying but good for him

I don't love any of those. I would put them in my BORING pile. Just on name alone he should have more whimsical cards.

Don Sutton was born on this date in 1945!

I am still sad that Fucci only did nineteen Project 70 cards.

I don't like excessive artist branding on designs.

I agree completely.

How cool is it that nobody knows what Ermsy and Fucci even look like?

Adrian Beltre turns 45 today!

I don't like that POSE did twelve cards and just bailed on the Project.

That surprised me as well.

I'd forgotten that the Dodgers altered his birth certificate (1979 to 1978) in order to sign him as a 15-year old.

Catfish Hunter was born on this date in 1946.

Gary Carter was born on this date in 1954.

Jo Adell was born on this date in 1999.

Together they have 19 All-Star appearances, six World Series rings and two Hall of Fame plaques.

(Notable omission: Félix Hernández was born on this date in 1986. Félix was great and it seemed like he was cool with the hipsters (who knew enough to deemphasize pitcher wins), so I was surprised that he didn't get any Project cards at all.)

Who did it better?

What a celebration card for Jo Adell! Bizarro.

Also surprised about King Felix -- larger than life on the mound.

Blake's Adell would fall in the OK category. The rest can be classified as terrible.

Was it a collaboration like the Project 2020 Jamieson card with Ben Baller?
