That image above of the Cortez Kennedy cards is blown up with Ctrl+ three times.
As inventory manager exists now, I can see 5 cards at a time on my laptop and about 8 on my monitor. That helps me price and reprice efficiently without having to scroll to see every card. The bigger the thumbnail, the fewer cards you can see on screen.

Since a single click brings up an over-sized image of the scan, I would rather see more cards on my screen than have bigger pictures but have to scroll more often (since most of the time I have no need to look at the scan). This is obviously a matter of opinion on which we seem likely to agree to differ, but I hope that helps explain where I'm coming from.

Just wanted to say thanks for the shipping suggestions everyone.

I found a graded bcw box I didnt need, and two smaller boxes were able to fit in there w/ some bubble wrap and the graded box fit in the priority padded envelope. Sent it off to COMC this morning.

Had my first shipment of cards I bought off COMC delivered today. One of the cards has a huge crease on the front of the card that is not subtle. It was not noted by the seller and COMC did put it in a different grade category. Do I have any recourse with COMC?

Yes, you can return it. Start the process now by sending them a message through the Support button.
I am assuming you meant that "COMC did NOT put..."

Thanks for the reply! This seems super strange. I wonder if someone handling the card damaged it. Kind if sucks because I bought the card awhile ago and it's worth way more than I paid for it now.

Here is the scan

Here is the card I received.

Did you realize you don't have to scroll? Once you price the bottom card on your screen it automatically scrolls. But maybe that is not what you want either.

Here is a GREAT example. The difference between what this card actually is and what they are ID'ing it as is MASSIVE. And I have both a base and this parallel in this submission.

I don't think it's too much to ask to want them to have a much better ID rate. There could be a lot at stake. One ID error could cost hundreds of dollars.

Check out the post I just made. See how much room there is for the photo to be expanded WITHOUT affecting formatting? Like what if you used that entire area for just the FRONT of the card, which would allow for one big image that fits right there. And then you could click on it to see the back or w/e.

So when I originally said, "and there is tons of room where the thumbnail could easily be enlarged without affecting anything else on the screen" I'm not sure why you disagreed with that.

Yes. Now you're catching on.

If I wanted to scan and ID my own cards I would have done that. Instead, I sent them to a service that does that for me.

Looking again with fresh eyes you're right about that. They could make it bigger. They'd probably have to reprogram the thumbnails for horizontal cards so the front would be above the back otherwise those would take up too much space. But that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world either.

Whether that would get things large enough to be able to see obvious errors is debatable, but I agree there is no reason not to do it if its not generally going to reduce the number of cards on screen.

Your point is fair when pricing a submission, but when repricing I end up having to scroll a lot as most of the time I don't want to reprice the bottom card. That may explain why we have different opinion - I get most of my inventory from flipping and I can see if I mainly got inventory from submissions I might well feel differently. In addition, if I have multiple of the same card, I like to be able to clearly see that in inventory without having to scroll down.

I attended the COMC user summit last october and they have not implemented one single upgrade they teased yet except for PSA grading and Live Auctions. Which seems like a cluster...Just pathetic stuff man.

Beta Website?
Trading?
Better image scanning?
better shipping?

How does a crease like that even happen?

You could throw the card at a wall, and you wouldn't get a crease like that.

Yes, I am super missed off! My only recourse is to get my money back. The problem is I bought it in 2022 so it sells for like 3x now what I paid for it. I asked them if they would substitute for the one on the website. They told me to pound sand.

I submitted my card April 1st, 45 day turnaround to PSA. 48 business days have now passed and it’s still processing. I guess they are not including days in shipping, but this has me wondering if there are any guarantees with that 45 day number, or does it not even matter.

Edit: 47 business days I guess with Memorial Day

I'm still waiting on one from February

I'm no longer getting an email showing my daily sales from COMC that I used to get. Anyone else not seeing these either?

Thank you. Just got it back today... POP 1 as a 10/10. Two others graded 10 though, just without the auto grade.

Very nice pickup. I clicked on it, debated it and then it was sold. Lol.

Does anyone have recent experience on cash outs? I've actually never cashed out in my 10+ years on COMC since I just flipped into more cards for the PC but I'm looking to take some of my credit out and was curious about other's experiences recently.

I do a PayPal cash out every week. They have been pretty quick as of late - taking 2 to 3 business days to complete.
