Roman Anthony was hit by a pitch in his first AB. He stayed in the game for a bit before being removed before his second AB.
That sucks. He was mashing.

Any word on why Carson Williams was removed from the game tonight?

I got a live look at the Dodgers and Rockies tonight. The Dodgers are just on another level in the ACL right now. It is definitely another wave of high quality prospects on the horizon.
Joendry Vargas, 2 for 6, 3b, sb...he's legit. Probably the best ACL prospect I've seen since the pandemic (that list includes Walcott, Montes, and Ballesteros). Similar size, defense (including lack of a good arm), speed, and hitting dominance as CJ Abrams at the same level. Eduardo Quintero, 2 for 3, 2b, 2 bb, another really good prospect for the Dodgers. Athletic and takes a great swing. He was in RF tonight and all my defensive focus was on the infield, so no read on his D. Marioshendrick Martimus, 0 for 5, 4 k, 11 left on base!!!. He takes a great swing. I mean one of the best I've ever seen at this level. He's got enough bat speed, but for some reason was behind every fastball tonight and had no clue on the offspeed stuff. His glove looks really solid, to the point that I think the only reason he's not playing SS is the presence of Vargas. He's rail thin, with the listed 6'1" 160 likely accurate. Totally not what I expected based on the scouting reports and stats. The contact issues are obviously concerning, but I would not give up on this guy as a potential major leaguer, even if he only ends up a utility player. Robert Calaz, 2 for 5, hr (5), sb. He played CF tonight. I got a look at him going side to side. I was hoping it would be better than when he has to come in. It is not. It just takes him forever to figure out where the ball is going. That's a fixable issue, IMO, so I think there's still a little defensive potential.

1) He struggles a little and his prices go down, then get crushed heading into the offseason. He ends up way down. 2) He plays very well, his prices rise a little, then get crushed going into the offseason. He ends up where he is now. 3) There's always that outside chance that he absolutely destroys A-ball pitching and is a top 20 prospect heading into next year. In that case his price would definitely rise. IMO this is by far the least likely of the three scenarios, so I'm willing to risk it. I will take a good long look at Vargas and his prices in the offseason when I make my prospect list. Based on what I saw last night, I think there's a really good chance he'll end up a top target of mine heading into 2025.
