Default Firerunner4's Vintage Pickups + Custom Lineup Cards

Hey Everyone, since the vintage section has a little less traffic I figured I'd make a thread for all my rolling vintage pickups. While I absolutely love modern cards and can't shake the addiction of them, I don't enjoy them like I do with vintage cards. I also heavily collect modern MLB authenticated game used lineup cards (my obsession is kind of unhealthy )

I have recently completed my Topps/Bowman run of Pirates legend Bob Friend and have circled back around to completing the run signed. I came up with the idea of trying to create modern style lineup cards from significant games from his career to have signed TTM (Mr. Friend is a TTM legend) and even nicer in person!

Today's mail brought a dual signed 1958 Topps with Billy Pierce

Aside from being featured on a beautiful card together, they opposed each other starting the 1956 All-Star game, so here is my custom lineup card from that game. Look at the NL bench

Thanks for looking, I'll be posting all my vintage mail and custom lineup cards (and hopefully the signed ones too) so follow along

Good stuff fire.

As a big Roberto Clemente fan that you may have seen in my latest vintage thread, I am very familiar with Bob Friend.

I just got back into the vintage game last year, after a 30 or so year layoff. I last collected with my father when I was little. I wrote about my collecting, then coming back to the hobby, in my original post, which I linked to in my latest thread.
So I am slowly building/rebuilding a modest vintage collection and as an odd coincidence, I ALSO USED TO COLLECT AUTOGRAPHS. But that was another focus in more recent years, though I did have some baseball oriented items when I was little. I was a big TTM collector about 10-12 years ago in another non-baseball subject.
(Ironically, my father just recently gave me a scrapbook of some items I had when I was little, and there are a few HOF'ers autos in there that I acquired in the 80's.) Most everything card related that we had when I was younger is long gone, so when my father came forward recently with a few things that he somehow kept, I was pretty stoked to have them.
So from the collecting vintage baseball and also my autograph interest, I loved seeing that Friend/Pierce dual you just picked up.

Looking forward to seeing more.

These custom lineup cards are super cool. Do you also collect game-used lineup cards (modern or vintage)?
