Default Validity of Michael Jordan's Stats

https://sports.yahoo.com/a-closer-lo...140452567.html

Interesting article.

MJ's my favorite and I doubt this has an affect on his legacy, but if it were LeBron, I have a feeling ppl would be all over it.

boy, reading that article, his whining about getting honors/recognition sounds like Troel

the only thing that matters is championship hardware and that isn't bestowed by voters

That does it. This opinion article makes him no longer the GOAT!

-contributor to Dan Le Betard show based out of Miami
-employed by mouse house on and off for a decade

nice refutation of the substance

(WWTD, What Would Tallboy Do, certainly not this kind of reaction)

Can you imagine?

MJ also allegedly met one of his mistresses through an introduction from an active NBA referee.

Some of the data given in the article, especially the home/road splits are pretty undeniable data. Especially the deadball turnovers (traveling, shot clock, out of bounds) becoming MJ steals.

Grown men, did and still do, fawn over MJ and do anything to defend/cater to him.

So now we're saying MJs GOAT status is questionnable due to stats?

Haha. Far out.

If you're so butthurt about it, go back and give Tim Duncan his quadruple double in the Finals. Which he actually had 10 blocks.

Pippen came out saying if he tapped the ball out from an opposing player and MJ caught it, MJ got the steal. Unfortunately, that is legitimately who should be awared the steal.

Somewhere Jordan has a stiff beverage and a cigar laughing.

You should go back and actually read the article. MJ gets credit for either scenario and the other player does not. That was actually Pippen's complaint.

Man seriously. Have you even looked at Pippen's numbers from those seasons?

This is storm in a teacup kind of crap.

Some random BronBoi clickbaiter/podcaster writes an article rehashing a nearly 40 yr old award given by voters and you're not immediately going to change your mind?

Just getting around to watching the”Last Dance” I forgot how dominant/good MJ was. I could remember watching all the games on WGN- it was must see TV every night Grew up watching the great Lakers/Celtic teams. Jordan was just on another level. He is the GOAT and nobody can convince me otherwise

My friends and I had this discussion on the weekend over some drinks. By the end of the conversation there was only one question to be asked with all the information on the table whether the stats thing happen or not.... Was MJ an elite defender not using the numbers? Yes or No? The overwhelming answer was yes.

Being a solid elite defender puts any question to rest on whether he is GOAT or not if the doubt of defense is being questioned. Simple as that

Have the idiot who made the article to get the real stats on how many times lebron james has traveled and not been called.... then we can correct his stats too

NBA stats have been fake for most of the history of the league. This is an old story with just another specific data point added. Wilt and Russell’s rebound stats, Stockton and Magic’s assists, all have been shown to be heavily inflated.

Funny, it’s not about Lebron and people are still all over it.

We desperately need to find real jobs for millennials so they can make better use of their time than concocting click bait articles like this.

Even yahoo fashion has better shock title ideas.
