I will agree some of the things that have came out of her mouth in interviews and fingers on Twitter is a bit strange and understandable why she's not well "liked" though
Ah, for some reason I thought she was talking about Fandar. If it was about the tracking creature, then a simple "it" would have worked instead of the need to go woke with the pronouns. It also would have simplified the dialog as she seemed to stumble over saying them.

6. The Book of Boba Fett
TBD. The Acolyte

The Acolyte at best could slot in at 4 and at worst 6. The gulf between #5 and #6 is greater than between #1 and #5 for me.

I really wish Ahsoka, Kenobi, and The Acolyte had been one-off movies. I think Disney got scared with Solo and everything not Bad Batch got sliced up into a mini-series. It was most apparent with Kenobi IMO. Felt like a movie that got padded out to fill a mini-series episode count.

All that said, I agree quality > quantity. I think Disney tried to get 100% ROI on their $4B investment too fast and quality suffered on some of their offerings. I'm still looking forward to what comes next though.
Some of those would have been better as movies. I still don't understand why Solo flopped. I thought it was a great movie; much better than Rogue One or the three latest Disney garbage Star Wars movies. The only two reasons I can come up with was that it wasn't Harrison Ford and they explained things in Hans past that led him to be the character he became instead of leaving those as mysteries? I mean what Star Wars fan wouldn't want to see Han meet Chewie or the first time he piloted the Millennium Falcon.

I didn't like Solo. The only redeeming part was any scene with Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian.

The problem for me was that I was relatively fresh off the disappointment of The Last Jedi and 5 months later got Solo. I still wasn't to "let the past die and kill it if I have to" with regards to the old Star Wars Expanded Universe and I went in with expectations for Han "I have no people" Solo that were unmet.

FWIW, of the Disney Star Wars movies, Rogue One was by far my favorite. It's right up there with the OT for me.

I agree.

But I also think if it weren't for the director being so unlikable with everything she says...it would've been a non issue

I'm enjoying seeing newer actors in the atmosphere.. now characters- although they have hardly been fleshed out, and also enjoying the implementation of the Jedi-fu

I will say though that I'm disappointed and I think they missed the boat by having the 1st Jedi Wookie (on screen) do next to nothing, and get killed off screen. Was really looking forward to him in action

Honestly I didn't even know who was directing the show and I've read no social media posts or watched any interviews. My only engagement with the show has been the show.

I didn't either...ofc until I saw all the chatter on social media..

Calling it the gayest Star Wars ever...and saying that C3P0 and R2-D2 are obviously gay/lesbian..

I can see why both her and the show are getting torched...doesn't really bother me the stupid things people say, but that's society now I guess

I don’t like Star Wars at all anymore and everything post-Force Awakens (except Rogue One, which I enjoy and maybe some Mandalorian) is the culprit.

That’s just me. I wish I still liked it, but I lasted 5 minutes with The Acolyte and I won’t revisit.

There’s lots or reasons, it is what it is.

About time you came back and heck of an 11,000 post to boot! You're needed in the FB section, there's some people getting quite big for their britches running around. Not understanding the 49ers about to run it back before the Bears take over and rule the NFC in 2026ish.

I definitely have some make-up work to do.

Well damn! Some bad ass fighting for sure.

Pretty brutal. Surprised Disney would do all that.

Miss me with the complaints about two mothers - grow up

But this series is just strange. Some parts are really cool, and some plot parts really don't make sense to me. Overall it's just a little jarring of a feeling and I still don't know if I like the series or not and I'm just left feeling like I'm not sure what's going on

This particular episode was fun, lots of action. Don't like how it was cut up though, that definitely contributed to the jarring feeling. I dig the sith character. Cortosis sighting is awesome

The metal that was used that kept shorting out the Lightsabers

I was confused by that part. I thought at first they broke then a few seconds later they worked again.

So was the Sith using something other than his lightsaber to do that? Yord did it also to the Sith at one point I think.

It stems from Legends content. This was the first time it was shown in a live action / mainstream SW show

Think of cortosis as a material like beskar, but much more rare and only effective against lightsaber energy. It is effective at temporarily disabling sabers, but not effective against other things and breaks easily, like how the helmet broke during the fight

Ok nice thanks for the explanation. The effects looked really cool each time it happened.

Pretty solid episode

Honestly I feel like Sol is gonna kill Qimir and end up embracing the Sith towards the end

I'm glad the more sensitive types gave up on this show early.
They probably couldn't have handled this week's episode.

Have we ever seen more action in one episode before of any Star Wars series (not animated)?
