Default Why no Rempe?

I see Adam Edstrom has an Upper Deck Extended Series card. He played 11 games this season for the Rangers.
Goalie Dylan Garand, who was called up in November but never played in the NHL has a card.

So why no Rempe, who played 17 games and 11 playoff games for the Rangers this season.

Is it due to "RempeMania" and an expectation to sell boxes in next years release?

Yes.

Next year may not have that upper top tier A+ guy like Bedard (though Celebrini isnt that far behind from a scouts perspective), there are plenty of A tier guys that could end up being very good. Gauthier, Stinkoven, Michkov, Celebrini, Will Smith. Rempe fills in that nice 2nd tier of popular guys that wont put up big stats, like Arber Xhekaj.

Why no Rempe? He debuted on February 18 which was after the 23-24 rookie cutoff date (looks to be anyone who debuted after January 1, 2024 didn't make it into UDExtended).

Because of when he debuted in the NHL. Rempe will not be a YG people highly covet or value, he’s not the type of prospect that will be worth “holding over” for a better YG set, he’s really a mid level prospect and popular among really just ranger fans for S1.

Thinking Rempe is being saved to make another YG group stronger isn’t a thing. Michkov, Smith and Celebrini (is he signs) will most likely be the class leaders for S2.

Stankoven, Wallstedt, Gauthier, Hutson, Nazar, and then maybes like Josh Doan, Brad Lambert, Akil Thomas, Ivan Fedotov, Rempe, Zach Dean, and Olen Zellweger as second tier

'Rempe Mania' is yesterday and his YG will be a $5 card for the Ranger faithful. He's meat.

Thanks guys!
Edstrom got into one game in December. I assume Garands call up was also pre 2024.

I dont know about that Valley. When its first released, id bet raw will go over 20, exclusives will be hundreds as will graded.

Like anything, time and availability will eventually bring prices back down.

Rempe has no long term upside as a few have pointed out, but all rookies/prospects sell for more in the days immediately after a product release than they do a few weeks later. The ones still holding hobby interest in 2-6 months are probably notable enough to collect IMO. Rempe probably won't make that cut. But like him for who he is and collect his cards if that makes you smile.

Need to get a boxing coach like the Bruins did for Shawn Thornton.

Laraque is ideal for him as he will end up in the Quebec Fight League eventually.
