Liking this Hank trend! I’ll post another one I just picked up. Normally cautious with the older slabs, this one was a real blazer, so I couldn’t resist!

Keeping with the Hank Aaron trend, just got this off eBay. Eye appeal is insane!

Stunning card! I am looking for one now, but I spent all my collecting funds on a raw 1955 Topps Aaron. I already have one, but the card spoke to me. Almost perfect centering, amazing registration, and some slightly rounded corners. It is on the way to eBay authenticity guarantee, so hopefully I will have it in hand soon.

Nice! Please post a pic when you do. Still looking for a ‘55 myself. The ‘54 I recently grabbed took quite a bit for me to do so, so I’ll have to hold off on a ‘55 for a bit… maybe haha

Picked up these 2 low end HOFers at the Dallas Show today. Love the look of SGC slabs. First Mantle and first Clemente to add to the PC.

Great cards everyone. I was really tempted to buy a case of series 2 topps, especially when they came out with the fun face Jackson Holliday card but knew the chances were slim to pull one. And looking at my collection the cards that have really held their value or have gone up has been the older cards I have. So instead of a case I looked for something about the same price.

Didn't know that they made a fun face card. Maybe that explains the rise of prices of the FF Ripken card recently.

Great 1955 Aaron, new PSA 6's are the old 7's.

Niceeee. Great centering! I think you made the right choice. I have also made a similar change in collecting approach. Great thinking!

So after getting the '55 Aaron started looking for more vintage and I have always wanted a Banks rookie, hard to find decent centering top to bottom.

Agree on the centering issues. Nice Banks, I’ll eventually pick one up too

So my latest pickup(on Tuesday) was a complete set of the 1968-69 Post NHL Marble set.
The game board is still in it's original box with the shipping label still there. The board is as
nice as I have ever seen. It also has the game instructions which is printed in both English
and French. The only thing I am not sure about are the two dice that came with it.I would have
thought the game would have had one red die and one blue die.But mine are both red so I am
not sure if they are original or not.If someone knows than PLMK. Thanks.

I need to review what is required to submit this for card authentication/grading and get it reholdered with a label that identifies the card.

Card grade is probably a 4 at best. Tiny wrinkle extending from the bottom of the 'f' in koufax to the bottom edge, possibly from the pressure of signature itself.

Nice auto. Can’t go wrong with a Koufax

Two new pickups for myself. The Mantle was very reasonably priced at $100. No creases/wrinkles, surface is pretty clean otherwise, centered decently, with some moderate corner wear. The Ryan was also a nice price at $20.

Got my 1955 Hank from eBay authentication. My kid sent me a picture, so it is still in the plastic. I don't think I could get a better one already graded for $282.75. Might send it to SGC if there is a baseball grading special later this year for vintage.

Below is my other 1955 Hank I bought already graded a few years ago. I was going to get rid of one for the purchase of a 1955 Bowman or 1956 Topps, but I just might keep both now.

Great centering on both. That’s fantastic

The '55 Bowman is a cool card. And it's pretty cheap.

I snagged this one years ago. The surface blemish...otherwise it's an easy 6, maybe a 7.

That’s a fantastic 1. The paper loss 1’s are by far the best looking bang for the buck grades imo, especially if they are on the reverse

Yes, the 55 Bowman definitely has a nice price point.

Also one of the few cards I would buy as Authentic. Many of these cards were cut short from the factory and PSA/SGC won't give them a grade. If I see a SGC labeled as min-sized, I wouldn't hesitate to buy at a great price.

Here is a piece of trash I overpaid for. Does anyone else have wrappers in their collection or am I a weirdo?

Nothing wrong with that, I just have some 80's baseball and football wrappers.
