Most of mine were checked in late last week (standard/select/elite). Only waiting on a couple of straight to grading groups now.

Aaaand now my direct to grading stuff just posted. I should note, I dropped it off on Friday morning at the National, if that makes any difference.

My Friday morning standard sub got checked in yesterday. Hopefully Saturday subbis checked in today or tommorrow.

1200+ cards straight from the value bins in Cleveland onto the COMC platform. Mostly BKB #ed prizms, Ant man RCs and such. Lots and lots of SSPs and other VHTF item. Plundered some 50 cent boxes that were loaded with low #ed 2000s and 2010s football that will hopefully help out some player collectors.

Is COMC totally okay with people shill bidding their own COMC auctions on eBay?

Almost positive I recently experienced this as my bid was pushed to the max within seconds on a COMC auction on eBay.

No, they're not okay with it. Send them a message through their support button and they'll look to see whether they can identify the underbidders as affiliated with the consignor. If they do, they'll ban them from bidding on COMC auctions on eBay in the future.

So I emailed COMC about the automated repricer and the response read like boilerplate to me. The rep said they’re not technical and couldn’t advise on the technical aspects. I took the video down to be safe and replied to see if I could talk to someone technical and see if it’s actually okay or not and maybe come up with a way to develop it into something with their guidance/approval.

I’m hoping this isn’t the end of it cuz I’m starting to dread the idea of having to manually stay on top of pricing/repricing my cards there since I’ve just subbed ~2,000 cards last month and have a few thousand more that I was going to send this month.

Probably not the answer you want to hear. But I would be surprised if you actually hear back from someone in regards to this automated script repricer for public use. It's not really in their best financial interests at min to partner or give help on getting a app to achieve this end goal that you have expressed

some of us have hundreds of thousands cards - so 2,000 isn't bad

and COMC moves at a snails pace - they're a corporation - it'll be months before you even hear back from their technical team if you ever do

Well, they used to offer a bulk repricing tool for 32-bit Microsoft Access, but no longer support it. They still have a user need to be able to accomplish bulk repricing. But I agree, I'm not sure they want people to build their own tools to do it, putting a lag on their systems.

Tim could probably build that exact tool in a day - guys a coding genius - if they wanted people to have it they'd make it in house

That said the DATA and tools they give sellers is pretty pathetic...

Yeah, it’s really simple to code this stuff. The challenge is creating the logic for every pricing scenario. Making the tool was also very fast and easy but, creating something like this in the context of all of the rest of the code in COMC’s codebase could be a challenge but I dunno, I’m just an amateur.

I heard back that management is reviewing our correspondence and someone may or may not reach out.

At the big Zoom meeting I think they mentioned that they were working on an automatic pricing tool for lowing prices on a periodic timeframe, but it would be at least a year or two away. (same timeframe as the trading feature, if I remember correctly)

The two factor login has seemingly disappeared for me. Feels like I’m on parole.

I think they turned it off after the Microsoft outage.

COMC has dramatically improved on both listing times and shipping times. My sales there have seen a mild bump as well. My last submission with a 1028 due date is mostly complete. My last shipment request (and non-expedited) on 8/2 shipped 8/8.

Consider yourself fortunately on the listing side. I have submissions due 10/18 that have not been touched.

I'm hoping COMC has their 30% off submissions again so I can pay .35 per submission. I took advantage of it the past two years and I think the last one was last August or September.

I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. I think they got overloaded with the last submission promotion.

Last promo was a couple months ago.
