hobby or jumbo case?

seems like more autos in hobby but i'll guess jumbo has more chrome and the autos will be better than base on average.

There a couple jumbo only auto parallels, but still plenty of base autos in it.

It depends what your goal is. If you're set building, hobby has more base cards per box. If you want chrome, buy jumbo. It's 36 chrome cards per jumbo box.

I just ordered my case of Jumbo yesterday. This happens way too often. I try to wait until the last minute, so not to have a bunch of money tied up, but delays seem to happen 50% of the time!

I haven't paid attention of late, but how early has Topps been posting odds & checklists compared to the release date?
Will we see both or either next week?

Has the delay been confirmed? I received an email from one of the other 2 this morning to pay the remainder of my preorder so they can ship next week. Both of the other “Big 3” still show 8/23.

Blowout is now showing 8/30, but the other 2 still show 8/23. I bet the other 2 will update their sites by Monday.

That checklist will absolutely spike the price. Skenes has not been in many sets since getting the call. Limited RC will continue to drive the price of other cards. Having a bunch of guys that are already in the majors and having good years is bad for the price of this product.

Look at previous years for this release. Strong classes push the price up.

Most of us that love this set love it because we build the set. And we love it because the breakers tend to stay away. Having it loaded with big name rookies increases the chance the breakers get into it.

The legends auto checklist seems weak. Adam Jones, Justin Morneau, Jayson Werth, Scott Rolen, and Pedro Martinez.

Last year was Tori Hunter, Prince Fielder, Paul Konerko, Jose Reyes and Shawn Green. At least 2024 has 2 hall of famers.
