1989 in San Luis Obispo CA(Madonna Rd)
The highlight was being on closing crew. The vets taught me how to freeze the tile floor outside the walk-in freezer door for a proper hockey match utilizing a broom and a 10/1 patty as the puck prior to mopping. 4.25/hr as I recall.

Uber/Lyft don't got free soda, though.

My first instinct was to start a poll asking people's favorite flavor of Doritos but figured that's maybe a little too on the nose.

This one has a little more nuance.

I'm unfamiliar with NN.
Say what those letters stand for, or else leave the Forum forever.

Hmm, (breakfast) crickets from Siberian13, what a surprise.
I mean, it ain't like he's not here.

"NN".
I see it all the time, usually in pointless nonsense posts, but what does it stand for?
Anyone?
Anyone?

I asked a simple question and wasn't answered even though the person I asked it of never leaves the Forum ever.
Can't get much more straight forward than that.

I think it's shorthand for "Nana". A term of endearment amongst the practitioners of the written word.

Is that true, Siberian13?
You're the one who used it.
Surely you know what it stands for.
Can we get a welfare check on Siberian13?
I am legit worried.

Yes back in the 90s. They put all the cute girls up front and all us dudes in the grease pit working the grill and fryers.

Now, McDonalds looks like a ghost town behind the counter.

I've never worked at McDonald's but did at wendys when I was in high school. Probably one of the best experiences in how not to be a lazy ass. The 90s were crazy times. No cameras. The night manager would do some crazy stuff I'd rather not say.

Six years. I almost went straight from high school to Hamburger U.

In retrospect, it would have been a much better decision than UMiami.

Anybody else remember McDonalds cookies in the little mcdonaldland box?

They were shaped with characters kind of like animal crackers.

Things went downhill after they took those off the menu

No but the 1 in 8 seems accurate. My 8th grade class probably had 1/2 work at McD's before graduation

Too cowardly to say what "NN" stands for, but not too embarrassed to keep posting useless grade-school junk.
Classic Siberian13.
