At the lowest bulk rate they were $8.50, right? If every single card was bought at that price, it's still $5m. And obviously they weren't. So probably something in the ballpark of $6m total.

Triple Jackson card with no RC logo ??

Their MLB/MLBPA agreement doesn't allow them to put RC logos on multi-player cards, even if they were all getting RC logos on their individual cards that season.

(The Witt/JRod from a couple years ago was a mistake, and I'm sure there have been a handful more, but aside from those rare screw-ups you'll see it's a consistent practice if you check back through previous cards - both Now and otherwise.)

I like this approach. It's a nominal enough increase for serious player/team collectors to buy and gain that auto chance, but large enough to discourage speculators that don't have as much vested interest in the player/team.

I bought Holliday because I like his long-term potential and wanted the milestone card even though I won't PC him, specifically.

I'm passing on Elly because it's more than I want to pay for a non-milestone card, regardless of autos.
