Haha, great for all of us as fans!

BTW, a good trivia question for golf/baseball fans. If a cycle is more rare then a 59 in golf on pga tour. Not an obvious answer as many more complete game bat appearances then complete rounds of golf.

Also, love a cycle that's a clean 4 for 4. And not some blowout with 20 runs scored. Clean!!
I did some rough math that will only interest a few golfers who read this. To compare odds of a 59 to hitting for a cycle. Answer surprised me.

Odds of shooting a 59 in a pga tour event (using data back to 2010) is about .004%.

Golf 59 ratio:
13 PGA 59s or better since 1977.
10 pga tour 59s or better since 2010.
~36 tournaments per year.
144 players 2 rounds. ~72 players 4 rounds.
432 rounds per event.
15,552 rounds per year.
10 59s or better out of 233,380 rounds from 2010 or 1/23,338.
Or .0043%.

Odds of a player hitting for an unatural cycle has been calculated well by Jeff Sackmann in "The odds of a cycle" to be .0059%.

So it is slightly more common to hit a cycle then shoot a 59 in a pga tour event. But it's very similar.

This is, uh, a pretty nice card. I might even be a smidge jealous, in fact.

I’ll just leave this here. Side note, my friend group and wife all refer to him as “The BBC.”

Did someone say purple sapphire???

'20 Triplets:

I should mention Bam got an incredible deal on his purple. Glad he picked that up.

Lol. Thanks. I think I'm about 95% gem rate with Yordan and 50% with everyone else.

I'm not even going to acknowledge the posters name above that did this to Yordan.

It’s……just…….a sore neck. Which means it’s Yordan’s fault for not sleeping on the right pillow.

Looks nice! Those have over a 50% gem rate. If you are into grading that's likely a good one to send in.

Funny how a couple players just miss this boundary.

Helton had 296 walks, 305 extra base hits in 600 games

Ryan Howard had 344 walks, 297 extra base hits in 600 games

Funny thing, Juan Soto is way behind in terms of extra base hits, but over 50. But his walks were well over 500 lol

And yes, I was bored and decided to look at random players in comparison. It's still baffling how terrible he is at home vs on the road lol
