MVP is not trending in his favor. If the Mets make the playoffs then I think the vote is close to split. If the Dodgers somehow lose the division too then there's no way he wins it.

Walking on egg shells from here on out. If he doesn't get 50/50 I think it's more likely than not it goes to Lindor. That will be a HUGE sell in the short term. And doesn't look good in the long-term either. 20% haircut easy.

I think your wrong. As long as Ohtani does not get injured he will win MVP.

Understand that there is a collusion among NY sports media, if there is any reasonable way they can give the award to Lindor they will do so. It's not about the best player or even the most valuable. I have seen how these guys operate first-hand.

Ohtani still has to put in some work to make it unreasonable to award it to anyone but him.
