7-Case Break -- 2019 Topps Heritage High Number (Summer 2024)

Over the last five years, I've probably opened a total of 20 cases of 2019 HHN... seemed like the last year that included a chrome and a variation in each box (plus a lot of extras). Had an itch to open some more over the last month or two and ordered 7 more from BO.

Heritage cases run hot and cold... these were no different. Three were good, four were light. Got unlucky with the names for black and chrome parallels, but the autos (vet/retired autos, in particular) were solid. 2019 was a good year for QA... most of the chromes, autos and variations will grade well.

Kept the box toppers unopened... not sure what I'll do with those, yet.

Thanks. Definitely a fun break. Hard to take too much of a loss at ~$1k/case, too.

I'm planning to list some of the stuff on eBay next week and will likely set the Yankees quad at $500 OBO.

Do they normally make all the relics the same and then one outlier? (Judge) lol

Some really nice autos in there, I've seen this discounted a lot as well, not really a fan of Heritage though and don't know the variations etc, but looks like a pretty good rip in case form. I appreciate the pics as many don't, I kinda wish we'd know the hits by case though as 7 is quite a bit lol

I don't have it broken down by case, but the second case had the Perez & Votto dual, Ryan, Devers, Eloy gold and variations for Vlad, Tatis and Alonso. The kiss of death was a gold relic and a /100 mini in the same case -- can't remember if this happened when I opened a lot at release, but the four cases in this batch with both were turds.

The Eloy gold would have been a monster in 2019-2020, for sure!

Looks like a fun break! All the Tatis autos were in this years Topps exchange boxes at the National… sucks not seeing any being hit in that many cases… I’ve ripped a ton of this too and never pulled one

Ha, had no idea. I've never seen one hit in the wild, either. On brand, unfortunately.
