Celebrity Authentics has Hugh Jackman signed items on their website. He signed his full name, but the signatures don’t look as nice compared to his trading card autos (Topps, Rittenhouse).

Over a year later and no word on this signing happening. This is the kind of stuff that frustrates me. They take your money and then you can go years without hearing a thing. SWAU also has money + cards from me for Sadie Sink and Joe Keery.

That's just the beginning. I found out today that they charge you an additional $20 for every add-on autograph you pay for to add on one piece. They call it a handling fee. I will not ever use that add-on feature from them again. I'm so sick of promoters price guaging their customers. It's unfortunate that it isn't an option to just not do business with them. They do get the stars that I collect. But if I'm presented the option to go through them or another company, I'm spending my money elsewhere.

I've waited a little over 6 months for Gemma Chan. The signing date is still TBD on SWAU's website. I kinda regret placing this order and have a feeling it's going to get drawn out over a year as well.

"It's not normal, during the actors strike, the Stranger Things cast would not participate in autograph signings - and as soon as the strike was resolved, they immediately began filming the new season. Because of their rigorous filming schedule, and the fact they only know their schedule a week in advance, we haven't logistically been able to complete the signings yet. We are working closely with all of them to find the best time to do so. Unfortunately our signings are so large, they cannot be completed in a few hours. Winona, for example, will be signing for multiple days." |

I just realized it's been more than a year since I pre-ordered an autographed Kate Beckinsale photo from Celebrity Authentics. It's supposed to ship 2nd Quarter 2024 which means it "should" be going out this month. I've received no updates since the confirmation e-mail on May 4, 2023. Anyone have experience with Celebrity Authentics? Will they communicate if the signing was delayed?

I recently did a send-in for Ewan McGregor and wanted him to inscribe "Obi-Wan Kenobi." I thought the price was really expensive but I thought if I'm going to get him, I'm going to add an inscription since it's an auto for my PC. I follow all their send-in instructions but they send the card back with just the auto and said they "forgot." They gave me a partial refund for the inscription but I would not have paid for the auto if I knew I wasn't getting the inscription. I guess it's kind of a gray area but I think it's a little shady on their part.

I have really backed way down on signings this year for good reason. Basically just waiting for stuff that's been in limbo to come back to me first before making any other purchases.
Seems to me like a lot of the places are now functioning as "show runners" and put off their private signing responsibilities ("we'll handle that later"). Official Pix has not been the same since the Texas transition. Loved the customer service guys they had in FL, but now its just "here's your choice of 10 8x10s to choose from". Got my Hopkins and Murphy from SWAU, but like others here waiting on Ryder for longer than I care for. Getting more and more hesitant about sending things in as well. Just too many stories of "lost items" so I have a couple items that I've decided will be in person only to complete them. |

That’s right, I do remember reading something about her being sick and hospitalized. Her health is more important than any signing deadline. Who knows when the signing was scheduled. It would be nice to hear from Celebrity Authentics if there has been a delay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’ve slowed down on buying too as I’m waiting on orders to be fulfilled for:
Hugh Jackman Nicolas Cage Michael Keaton Gemma Chan Halle Berry (new) I might submit for a 2nd Halle Berry but that’s probably it until I start receiving some stuff back.

Lot of horror stories on here about these types of signings ..always preferred in person autos but I can see the convenience of the send in as oppose to the in person or i understand if the person doesn’t do in person signings but my anxiety would go thru the roof waiting on a item that I already paid for and haven’t received

The turnaround time can be quite fast if the signer is already scheduled for a public show, like New York Comic Con for example. It's only with the private signing events that we are at the mercy of the talent's work schedule.

Befoe the official site was established, SWAU seemed to have lost, or at least been holding, my Adam Driver non-Star Wars custom card for his signing back in 2019. No idea to this date if the card was ever signed/inscribed. My last communication with them about this was July 2021 (SWAU site has been established by that point), from which there were no responses - not even a reply about relaying the message to the person in charge of the signing. Thought that it was an isolated incident back then and decided to let it go.
Seeing these recent SWAU stories somehow made me think of it again, along with another incident from a Hemsworth signing, in which they omitted the character name request (did refund me promptly for that part though). Asked them what happened and got no answers, just like the Driver signing years ago. Similar to what another member here mentioned, I wouldn't say that they are bad, at least not yet, but at times do feel frustrated.

Looks like Megan Fox, Daisy Ridley, Uma Thurman, Hayley Atwell, and David Duchovney will be signing for Twin Cities soon.
Anyone remember what the round about prices were last time for any of them? Thanks.

Finally got this Nicolas Cage book back. Took about 9 months, but I love how it turned out. Worth it.

Chloë Grace Moretz has a beautiful signature. Indecipherable, but beautiful. Nicholas Cage is plain but easily readable and identifiable. A nice pairing.

I got her, Keery, and Dyer for $75 each. I guess this is how he signs, just wish it looked a bit cleaner and was in the center. Hopefully SWAU can take care of the hologram for me.

Got my Hugh Jackman book back after 2 years. Glad they honored my request for silver ink. It pops nicely. I submitted a similar book for the Halle Berry signing. Looking forward to displaying them together.

SWAU added an order deadline of 9/20 for Natalie Portman. So I guess that means she’s going to be signing soon. But man, I can’t justify the $600 price tag. Why’s she so expensive? Is Star Wars demand still keeping the price high after all these years?
