wow their turnaround seems so random, have you received the verification complete email yet at least? bc i have another base sub from 7/11 that already did on 7/31

Yeah it got verified around June 24th.


Sent them an email and apparently there was a delay due to one of my cards not being able to be graded, and the guy who replied to me says he’ll work on getting the sub back into the grading process. Would have been nice if they actually told me without me having to message them. Makes me feel as though they were never going to do anything about it nor refund me the fees if I didn’t send them the message (still actually waiting for the refund).

No updates since.. should I be worried? I think I counted 38 business days, but the last step to encapsulate them feels long.

Did 2 Priority submissions last week and this week and both went through the process almost at identical speeds, only off by a few minutes.

The first submission last week was to grade the card, came back a sad 9.5 with 10 on everything but surface.

I sent it out again this week for a GCR, did NOT bump. Maybe the same grader saw the card twice. Literally went through the grading process at the exact same time as last week, same time it finished, same time shipped, etc.

Lesson learned after $400 down the drain, do NOT GCR - just crack and resubmit. I also saw a video recently of a guy who did GCRs at Nationals, 0/40 bumped.

Update on this issue

Apparently since a card got flagged the turnaround time now completely resets and I have to wait another 45+ business days (Im currently going on 51 business days already I believe). No idea why this would be the case. Still annoyed Beckett was literally gonna do nothing about the issue or notify me of it if I were to never contact them. Dont think Ill be submitting with Beckett for a while after this smh.

BGS is getting a ton of hate right now but I am absolutely blown away with how good their turnaround times have gotten. My last two standard orders have taken less than a week between being delivered and grades being ready. Wasn't super happy with the grades in either order but it's sooo much easier to stomach slightly disappointing results when you only have to wait a few days for them.

I've done two recent standard 45 day orders through BAS. First was 15 cards they received on 5/31, cards were shipped back on 6/26 (Very happy with that turnaround). Second, was a 9 card order they received on 6/17. Got an alert last Monday (8/12) that the cards received grades and were now moved to "processing"... they've yet to be shipped, and I'm a little puzzled why it would take over a week to get them sent out once they've received grades, however if I get them back by early September they'd be on time... I'd love to see the grades pop already though.

All-in-all, I'm pretty happy with them.

Super frustrating and maybe my slowest BAS order ever.

Hey guys,is there any turnaround estimate for recase? Order arrived at 8/5 and “label printed” on 8/7 and no update after that…in the past I had 2 recase order and both were done &shipped within a week…thanks

I've done 2 orders with BGS since the spring at the 45 (business) day service level. Both times I got an email that my grades were ready around the 30 (calendar) day mark. The first order I received the cards at 60 calendar days. The second order I'm still waiting for and am past 60 calendar days. It looks like the slowdown is happening at the encapsulation and shipping stage, not the grading stage.

Talked to my rep on 8/8 and he was going to try to help push it through. He noted my internal due date was 8/15.

No action so I followed up again on 8/23 and got a response on 8/30 that he'd try to get it shipped. Credit card was charged later that day on 8/30 and no updates since. Still just showing at 'order received'.

This is the slowest order I've had at BAS in the last 4 years.

I have BGS question and thought someone on this thread might help. I have a HOF Autograph collection, and some of them are the 2010 Razor Cuts Signature Icons cut autographs. I have noticed that it appears on a couple of them, they are a few moisture spots inside the sealed case. Would BGS re-case these for me since it is an issue with their product?

You can try to make a claim via E-Mail. But don't set your expectations too high, I once made a claim due to dirt in my case and they said I needed to pay in full for the recase^^

Anyone had an order arrived at BGS but no "Order Received" email for a week?

Delivered by UPS on the 16th. Customer service said it can take time to process but I usually get the received email within 24-48 hrs of arrival.

The cards did have a manual discount to be applied (handwritten on the sub form) from my rep and also 3 BAS cards that needed corrected labels as they had fallen out of their slot.

But...getting a tad worried now. ��

Didn't get the "we have your cards email£ but after a week, the sub was invoiced and I got that notification.

I have two different orders that have had grades for awhile but just get stuck in "Labels".

Verification: 10/3/24

Order 2 I can understand no movement... but Order 1 been stuck since 9/16? It's a 1-card submission. Emailed Rep on 10/3, no reply.
