Im a Ginter lover and there is tons of cool cards in it but I've opened a lot of cases over the years and its almost always a loser like everything else. Opened 2 cases last year at about that price and I think I maybe made back half my money.

I was on the fence and decided against buying a case when Topps put them up. Glad I waited. Just preordered one on Blowout for $100 cheaper. Comes to about $116/bx. Still will get murdered Im sure. Ive kicked most my ripping habits but Im still a sucker for Ginter.

Ugh! I really really don’t need to buy any cases right now, but if I wait for prices to come down I’ll miss the intial rush of consumers to buy singles.

So will there be a standalone "Chrome" set too? Similar to Stadium Club w/ Chrome + Stadium Club Chrome?

Need to know so as to avoid the "base" release since it's value plummets when the actual "chrome" product comes out. A complete FU to those buying w/ chrome and not actual chrome

I think Chrome stand alone is done and some Chrome will be inserted in this but someone smarter then me can chime in.

Lol. Me neither. Trying to go rip free for 2025 but we will see. Already bust about 25% of what I use to. And they might not go down much. I think in most places last years Ginter is still about $120 a box.

Yeah I got 2 last year and turned $2900 into about $1500 so keeping myself to 1 this year. I use to win busting cases once in a while but it seems like they are 90-95 percent losers these days.

Same. Keep in mind Topps charges shipping and tax.

Found a case for $1356 shipped all in. I’ll probably kick myself when someone else has it for $1200-1250 in a couple weeks, and even moreso when it goes down to an even $1k on Black Friday.

I noticed a few sites have boxes for $117 to $120 each (including BO), I got two boxes on Topps' site as I figured they'd have it the cheapest for preorder so a bit surprised to see other retailers having it for cheaper. I'm sure its happened before, but not for any boxes I've purchased, will probably make me think twice in the future although not sure how possible it will be to predict in advance.

This product dropped down to $1k a case in Black Friday and post Christmas sales

Sure, not doubting it would drop in price in a month or two. But for past releases I can't recall a release dropping below Topps own pre-order price before the release date.
