I didn't realize that you are so much older than me. The first one I remember is 1965, Sandy Koufax pitching shutouts in games 5 and 7. It was huge in Southern California.

I think the 1977 World Series was the earliest I can remember watching, which turned out to be quite a good one. Growing up in Philadelphia before cable and all that, seeing AL teams was a bit of a rarity and they definitely played a different style from the NL back then, mainly in aggressiveness on the base paths. But seeing Reggie Jackson every night was something else. In game 4, there was the incredible double-play thigh-deflection. And game 6, of course, was his 3 homers on 3 pitches, and I'm happy to say I saw all three. Mom was always a soft touch with bedtimes.
