My rankings are at least remotely similar up top, though I added a Tier 4.

I would just buy them both, topps may refund you on the BC but fair chance it goes thru

I guess if you are ripping, it maybe has a higher floor. But Bowman's Best is so watered down.

I'd take Sapphire Update over it any day.

The messaging app seems to work. The response was swift.

My first thought when I saw price on BB was Topps/fanatics will finally get a hint when no one buys it at that price, but guess others feel different. I would never give near that much $ for BB.

I definitely could've made a Tier 4 and probably should've because there is definitely some difference.

I did leave Caminero out of my Tier 1 but I do believe he has the talent. I just think his prices are a little lower than the rest of that group.

When they sent us the extra set, I was happy. When I saw this surprise release for us last night, I was happy. Two things we weren't expecting happened that added more value to our $150 membership. I went to sleep with a smile and the first post I read this morning was bitter old Moss back at it again

Obviously this is a secondary option versus any type of auction system. Why the thing this company tried the least is auctions we will probably never know. Didn't Topps only run 2 box auctions and they sold every single box for more than they would have listed them just for sale at anyway? So, selling them with a fixed price for less money and the vast majority of buyers that want them not having a fair chance to buy is a better option? Everything else they have tried they have given a longer trial period too except for the option that is best for them and best for the vast majority of buyers in the long run.

Complaining about my highest tier is the equivalent to people that complain about the Panini auction starting prices. The vast majority are going to have the $500 and $1500 tiers. What is $500 or $1500 in today's hobby? Nothing. $500 doesn't buy you 2 boxes of Bowman's Best today. Monty Club a few years ago was $750. If I remember correctly for that $750 you got less than you do now for $150-$200. People paid $750 then but they won't pay $500 now for more?

There wouldn't be 1500 memberships. It would be 2500. 1000, 1000, and 500. I guess it could be more. I have no clue how many Monty Club members there are now. But with box print runs going down on in demand products I don't know if you could go much higher than 2500.

Acting like memberships would sell out as quickly as the limited boxes have been is pretty ridiculous. 2024 new Montgomery Club memberships were available for $200 for what like 2 full days? Even if it was 1 hour with no checkout issues and advance notice that's an absolute eternity. How many new members do you think there were? Not even close to 2500 that's for sure. Didn't 2024 memberships start very soon after 2023 Bowman Draft Sapphire at the beginning of the year? Everyone saw what those were selling for. How many people looking at that wouldn't think the $200 new Montgomery Club membership would be more than worth it for just 1 single box of 2024 Bowman Draft Sapphire alone? Yet memberships sat for a very long time.

Do these systems help me? Yes. Do they help you? Yes. Do they help almost everyone trying to buy these products? Yes. Just because it helps me doesn't mean it's a bad idea. You really think Topps route of sale for in demand items is better than either of the options I've been proposing for years?

I've never once asked to be part of the "chosen group". All I've asked for years is a fair chance. That's all I want is a fair chance and not the bs that was yesterday with Bowman Chrome Sapphire or the lottery ticket EQL. I'll even gladly take the chance that isn't exactly a completely fair chance like most Panini auctions are now. If you told me I could have a guaranteed order of a few boxes for all these products or take my chances with an auction I'd still choose auctions. Hell, if you told me the 10-12 in demand products per year I could have 1-2 boxes of each FOR FREE I'd still choose auctions.

You seem pretty smart, but I can't believe you don't seem to agree with any of this.

Should we anticipate MC presale for Ginter X?
Official release is Friday, so pre-sale should be tomorrow if it's happening.

It's not on the pre-sale list of 2024 MC page, but they also didn't have Topps Chrome Update Sapphire there and that still went on pre-sale.
