More raw vintage in good condition, a more notable name

That Mantle is a stunner. One of my favorites.

Nice Nellie Fox.
Nellie loved the chew. Probably more pictures of him with it than without.

An addition for my HOF 54 Topps collection, HOF 56 Topps collection and my first Type 1 photo. The type 1 photo came from a gentleman over on net54. I live in Chicago so I was excited to get a cool photo with Mr. Cub and Ed Mathews on it.

Hoping to come home with some bigger prizes at the upcoming Chicago Sports Spectacular.

This may be my first '52 Topps card. I was looking for one of these that was well centered and not too beat up.

Picked up a new horizontal SGC slab frame that arrived today to showcase some of my complete 1955 Topps All-American football cards:

These things are beautiful works of art to me and I love having them on display.

I assume the back of this is very off-center/miscut? Confused on the MC qualifier, but it is a beauty nonetheless!

Another Spahn, guess I am going for all of his cards.

That looks nice and clean. The black on black really highlights the cards.

It is so nice to just visit the vintage forums. People showing off cards, displays, and just positivity!

I’m seeing some great cards here over the last couple weeks.

Here is another for my ‘59 HOF collection. Acquired from a BO member.

Exactly the case with this one. I don't like the 'MISCUT' description of the qualifier because this was mis-printed, not miscut.

I once owned this one...kinda wish I didn't sell it before the boom. Oh well.

Somewhat recent pickup via trade at the last Chantilly show.

Based on a small amount of research, I'm guessing that this was signed around the time Koufax was signing his 1966 book, Koufax.

PSA autograph facts gallery: https://www.psacard.com/autographfac...ufax/images/25

One example I found: https://www.psacard.com/cert/al00600

I was able to add another card to match up with some signed index cards that I acquired years ago.
Getting this 1952 Topps for under $4.00 including shipping was worth it.
Diering played for three different teams from 1947 - 1956.
He was 89 years old when he passed away in November of 2012.

I saw this on Ebay and realized that I didn't have a 1972 Blasingame.
It was cheap so I got it.
Today Mr. Blasingame turns 81.
He played in High School in Fresno, CA and was 26-0 as a starter.
His MLB record was much different.

I have been on a buying raw card kick recently. My COMC inventory is piling up and I have been buying anything that catches my eye. I think I will start selling off my lower graded vintage. So many cards to get and I am running out of room.

Not many vintage purchases lately but I did manage to pick up these tough to find centered copies. These are far from perfect but way better centered than the cards they replaced.
None are gradable, imo, but glad to have them nonetheless.

Are 90s and 80s cards considered vintage? Not sure if I can polar my recent pickups here

By the activity in this thread, I am sure no one would mind. I am going after all base player runs for HOF players and putting them in top loaders. That includes base Topps, OPC, and Tiffany.

If it's old enough to come out of a yellowed top loader....it's probably close.

I just bought this for 10 bucks...it's centered and looks really sharp. But the images could be misleading. I like taking chances on cards like this.
