Sounds like you screwed up. If you don’t care about ever bidding with them again, don’t pay.

It was graded by MEARS with A10 and described as Game Used by Goldin, so I didn't do much photo research before I made the final bid, I trusted both parties.
Right now, I am checking on Getty Image and hopefully I can find at least one game that the player actual worn this version of the jersey.

Getty images largely does not agree. There are some games where they wore “New Orleans” home jerseys but at first glance none of these have the “OKC” patch.

The whole Katrina deal is probably the reason they switched from New Orleans to Hornets on the jersey. The question will be if there was any point where they had BOTH “New Orleans” and the “OKC” patch.

The goldin say it's a game used, but I checked 2005-2006 Season Hornet's every home game's photo on Getty image, the hornet team always worn white jerseys with Hornets on front. They didn't even use this version of the jersey.

2005 Hornets worn their blue New Orleans Jerseys with OKC patch for away games, the only picture Chris Paul worn the white New Orleans Jersey ( without OKC patch) was in his rookie event. The one I won on Goldin has the OKC patch, so I guess it could be a team issued version instead of game used. Goldin though it was a Game Used because MEARS graded it A10... I was happy when I first won it because I thought it was a Game Used and graded A10... until now..

Thanks for the help. I just went over every 82 games' photos of 2005 Hornets on Getty image, unfortunately, there was not a single game that the Hornets worn this version's jersey.

I think it’s from a previous sale of OPs jersey. The detailed photos appear as if it is actually identical to it.

I would never blindly trust Mears (or any auction house's opinion). What I'm surprised is I though Mears only gave A10 grades on items with absolute provenance. This just comes with a Mears LOA right?

I just emailed the Pelicans to confirm whether this was a home issued Jersey design during the 05-06 season or not.

Goldin sold a Chris Paul "Game Used" Jersey in 2022, and earlier this year, the same jersey showed again on Goldin, but this time they changed the Jersey's title to Team Issued instead of Game Used.

Yes, the Jersey has MEARS's certification letters. It clearly described "worn during regular season".
