Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I used some free time today to get some cards scanned. The first card is just a regular SP, but it is nice to see all 3 of these together.

For the longest time I thought there were more than 2 levels of SPs in 13 Update, as it seemed like the Puig 'sliding' card was less commonly offered than the 'arms raised' card. Reading some PSA pop reports recently made me think there are just the 2 tiers as commonly assumed at the time.

A spanner in the works of such a question is the 25 cards thought to be SSP, and the 110 card sheets used that year. Other years of SSPs have checklists that more divisibly align with the sheet size in use at the time.

Others have mentioned these, but the 2015 Topps Heritage flip stocks are brutal. They look ever so slightly different, and you can feel the difference to the touch, but it's very subtle. Out of the pack, these are almost impossible to find unless you're specifically looking for them; who knows how many are sitting in commons boxes, unnoticed.

Base on the left, flip stock on the right:

You had the base set numbered Mussina? They are very very rare cards, do you recall what happened to it?

I posted this on IG a couple weeks ago.

Was there a Babe Ruth prop or look alike there or is it photoshopped?

Thanks!!

Not sure why PSA calls it an SSP while the others with the same code (polar bear, Rob manfred, etc) get the SSSP designation.

Sorry -- my mistake; I didn't realize it was a super rare version. That's awesome that you own it -- it must be Mussina's best rookie card, right?

Nice nod to the 2007 Topps Bush/Mantle Jeter.

Was there any photoshops before that year?

Same image. Numbered to 25 but I've only seen three copies.
