Default Top Derek Jeter cards?

So I have his 93 SP rookie. But besides that what are some of his more iconic or sought after cards? I feel like there are just so many autos out there, I don’t know where to start. He’s my favorite player of all time but I’m still learning his cards. Any help is appreciated!

1996 Select Certified Mirror Gold is the king of Jeter cards. But since you probably don't have an armored truck full of cash, you'll want to dig into his other 90s cards. Lots of iconic cards in the 96-99 era. His 1996 cards tend to carry a premium as "rookie year" cards.

Most recent Mirror Gold PSA 10 sold for $200,000+.

Yes, the mirror red is a very nice card, and even though there are only 3x the golds, the price is much MUCH lower. It would be a nice card to add to your collection.

That said, as nice as the mirror red and mirror blue are, they don't hold a candle to the beauty of the mirror golds.

I don’t think gold is in my future

Beautiful cards though!

I agree with the 96 Mirror Gold and Stadium Club Murphy, but would also add his 92 Little Sun High School auto.

Also, his 93 Topps Marlins Innagural stamped rookie is nice and won't break the bank. There's a Rockies one too, but I prefer the Marlins due to his post- playing connection to that team.

His 93 Bowman is a nice, clean, simple design that is also affordable. A nice PSA 9 copy can be had for $40. It's personally my favorite of his rookie cards.

Thanks. Lucky for me, Larkin prices aren't even in the same ballpark as Jeter's.

The select few insert from that same set is a nice looking affordable card in my opinion.

Here’s my Jeter collection:

https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjB8Syr

Start out with the core 1993 rookies:
- 1993 SP foil
- 1993 Pinnacle (my favorite of the year)
- 1993 Upper Deck (upgrade to the “Gold Hologram” if you feel like it)
- 1993 Bowman
- 1993 Topps (I only have the Topps Gold since I’m not a huge fan of this card)
- 1993 Select
- 1993 Score

1994 - Bowman’s Best - First year of product and his first refractor parallel

1995 Select - I have always wanted the Gold Mirror parallel

1995 - Finest - first year he’s in the set. The refractor is on my wish list

1996 - since this was his Rookie year there are plenty of cards and lots of affordable inserts.

I wouldn’t say the 1996 Circa Rave is iconic, but it’s a great Jeter RC parallel.

92 Little Son Derek Jeter Autograph. Had one but sold it in a big deal over a decade ago with Brady’s. His First card as well as the beginning of having autographed sports cards. On the card auto but was massively forged.

I had a PSA 10 Little Sun, but man I always coveted the auto.
