Love the cocky quotes from Skattebo and Leavitt. Don’t care how well they age or whatever.

Go big or go home.

Been reading some rumblings that Murray may be shopped pre draft. He’s awful, so not sure what someone would give but that may bring Arizona into the QB draft competition. With weapons like James Connor, MVH, and McBride- in the last 6 games Murray has a passer rating in 70s, 5 TDs and 8 picks. I think Cardinals know that he’s not the guy. Does this cause some other QBs like Milroe, Allar, Ewers, or Beck to come into play? Maybe not round 1, but round 2?

Jets gotta be thinking QB too

The problem here is you can’t just call it all a sunk cost and that’s that. The timing of cutting him has huge cap ramifications. IIRC they’ll take a $170 million cap hit if they cut him this offseason. That simply may not be possible for them.

I agree. I'm not talking about cutting him. I don't care if he has to ride the bench for 2 years. I'm saying you don't start him simply because you are paying him anyway. That's where the fallacy comes into play. "Well, we are already paying him, so might as well throw him out there". That's not how most teams would handle this. If you can grab a Cousins at a decent price, I'm fine with that. If you think Ward/Sanders is the future, they can afford that as well. A #1 pick makes 40 mil over 4 years. That's 10/mil a year and can easily be done.

Bottom line is you put the best man on the field with regard to what you can afford. Maybe it's Cousins. Maybe it's Winston. Maybe its your future #1 draft pick. Maybe Watson gets a good psychologist and absolutely murders training camp and earns the job back. I'm fine with all of the above.

Your post I agree with and the above is a very good point.

I know Penn state is heavily favored , but will be Interesting to see for me if the almost a month off rest helps a heavy run oriented Boise state offense or will the momentum of penn state having a W already in the CFP carry on.

This is why I wasn't upset that Bama didn't make the playoffs. Way too inconsistent.

This lazy offense works against scrubs like anOSU, but is so painful to watch.

Team 145 almost gave me an ulcer. But I'll take being up by 6 at the half.

I would be surprised if Michigan scores again. They have shot their load.

Kenny Dillingham on Cam Skattebo and Sam Leavitt's competitive drive:

"Sam thinks he can probably beat Michael Jordan in basketball. That's Sam. Skatt thinks he's probably the greatest running back of all time because that's Skatt...Those guys are ultra competitors."

Not surprised to see Alabama losing to the backups of a mid-tier B1G Ten team.

Anyone with eyeballs could tell they were frauds all along being propped up by ESPN.

This Bama team would have lost by 50 if they had made the playoffs.

Milroe still stinks. I wouldn't want to be the team that over drafts him.

Whenever I doubt myself, I remind myself that Alex Orji has a full ride scholarship at Michigan for playing quarterback. Anything is possible!

Ward is the only QB in this class that looks like a starting QB. Beck and Ewers look like backups propped by great team talent. Sanders seems meh with an attached sideshow.
