Apparently there is a box on ebay uk for £2000, I can't find it but seen someone post a pic on FB.

Whatever, it's a shitty set anyway and this is all hype, the Chrome cards blow this stuff out of the water.

I think that UK seller listed a box they didn’t actually have, then had someone “buy” it. The user is an obvious bot owner with a couple negative feedbacks for not shipping orders.

Then don't complain. If you expect to get every product at only a money tree price then there will be many you have virtually no chance. EQL you will have very minimal chance on. You wil also always be capped on the amount you can buy if you're not a bot. If you don't want an auction you really don't want the product. You only want it at a can't miss price.

An auction that starts at a high enough price you will never have to worry about bots again. They only buy at a price that is guaranteed profit. Bot users take no risks. Bots would never buy these products again.

I was only able to get one box to where the paypal processing wheel came into play. Then it eventually refreshed with no confirmed order.

Unless UK is different, don't these need to ship on ebay within 40 days? If the market is way lower, which it will be, can't the buyer just cancel if these don't ship until March?

Yeh true, they could just ask for a cancellation.

I wonder if boxes will load again on the site once they've fixed it

I think they will. I'd keep an eye out. The lack of listings makes me think the site crashed before people could checkout. In the Discord I'm in only one person made it.

Boxes still not labeled “sold out” … so maybe site could come back up but I doubt it.

I have high confidence that they won't be made available on Topps's site. I'm pretty sure that something like this happened before, and Topps just sent them all to direct accounts/distributors/breakers. It's less embarrassing to them and they don't have to admit to a problem.

It just happened this year with Topps Chrome Basketball. Site crashed and they went back up for sale 20-30 minutes later. Also happened with Bob Ross last year.

The stages of strike-out grief: Optimism before drop, excitement day of drop when seeing price and hope, anger at bots when miss drop......convince yourself product sucks anyway and in the end you'll be happy you missed out lol

With this being a much more limited release, it feels like it'd be easier to make the problem disappear. Who knows? I guess we'll see.

The issue is with it being Jan. 1st and barely anyone there you are going to have to sit at the computer or on your phone all day. Bots don't have to do that. If it does come back up, it will be gone within a few minutes max. Again since it's a holiday, there is a chance it won't come up until tomorrow if its still in stock.

All fair points. I'm guessing that if it were to come back in stock on the site -- which again, I don't think it will -- it wouldn't be today.

Yea really good chance even if there are a few employees working at Fanatics today the engineers are off. Now, I work in IT and am actually on-call today for my job and if something massive broke my phone would be ringing, but I don't know if Fanatics cares enough to have the people that can fix their Magento checkout system available.
