Really good showing by SA. Wadlow owned the glass.

Crazy stat: Denver has yet to lose a b2b on the year. A lot of dicey endings, but they've been resilient.

Also; Jimmy laughing his ass off rn.

He's got all the leverage. Miami's FO has all the pride.

Minnesota, Phoenix, Denver. And Dallas hasn't won since Luka went out with his injury, have they? I agree with you though on OKC. I just don't know if I trust them come playoff time if Chet isn't back.

As long as they get off his $50 mill for next year they're fine.

Nobody is giving Jimmy anything near that amount so he'll opt in.

Pat Riley has always put the franchise first and not overpaid guys at the end if their careers to miss a ton of games.

I can see both sides though. But Jimmy should never have said he doesn't start playing hard until after the ASG.

I mean Phoenix weren't a contender last year, not sure how they're a contender this year?

Dallas are above .500 without Luka this season. They're where they should be unless he plays, then they are a top 3 or 4 team.

Minny are not contenders either. I've been calling them out as pretenders every year.

Denver are where they are supposed to be.

I don't trust OKC to come out of the West even with Chet.

No way Jimmy opts in. Miami can just let him walk and they free up a massive amount of cap and have great flexibility going forward.

Just suspend the guy for the rest of the season and be done with it. Miami isn’t going to be able to get anything good for him anyways

Who do you have in the West Finals this year? It will be interesting to see what the trade deadline brings, but as things stand right now, I think the top 4 teams in the West come playoff time (in no particular order) are OKC, Denver, LAL, and Dallas.

The pettiest thing to do for jimmy would be to opt in so I could see him doing it

I'd love a Cavs/Thunder Finals. Both teams are very likable and easy to root for.

I don't like the thunder, they have an air of smugness about them

That said I am a rockets fan so I can't pretend to be unbiased

I must just interpret their attitude differently. I like what the Rockets are building, but not a fan of Jalen Green or Dillon Brooks lol

They aren't missing a step, but shot themselves out of the game in the 2H.

This is some serious cope.

They turned the ball over constantly during the entire 2nd half. They got out hustled and completely out played today.

They shot under 20% from 3, but yes, they didn't shoot themselves out of the game.

Beal got 50 mill. I think you may be slightly underestimating the stupidity/desperation of some nba franchises.

You're right. Riley rarely ever gives legacy deals to the elders. But I don't see Jimmy caving. He knows he's getting paid regardless.

Club Shay Shay's award to lose.

They win the upcoming match against Cleveland and you can giftwrap the award. Aside from that inexplicable blunder in the IST Finals, he's been matchup proof all year. I'd especially love it if he wins because he's a testament against this moneyball dominant era. Proves you don't need to be overly reliant on perimeter shooting to be an effective leader.

Shame Chet's injured. Out of all the teams you need a quality big against, it's probably Cleveland. Just hoping it's not a blowout either way.
