12/20, 144 yards, 1 interception and a scoring drive with Bucky Irving's rushing TD.

Trask looked really sharp in that opening drive. He also made some great throws with pressure in his face later on especially to Jarrett.

Think of that as a blessing. Pick em up dirt cheap in 2 yrs when he's with an Arena team.

Why I'm happy for Baker and still happy to pick up a few cheap Trask cards:

Unrestricted Free Agent and I have been loading up on him hoping he gets a shot. In the couple instances he has come in he has been ok. He threw a perfect pass to Evans in the back of the end zone that Evans dropped. This is a guy that will surprise people like McKee has if/when he gets his shot.

My gut tells me he will move on from Tampa to a team where he has at least a shot to start.

Cards are cheap overall, but some people must sense he's going to do something, because some people ARE holding firm on prices for his stuff

Trask must be awful if he can’t beat out a bad Baker Mayfield.

I'm 90% sure this guy is going to be a backup most of his career.
Not that I have an inside scoop, but I've read enough about the guy that I unloaded all my Trasks thank God.

And placed your faith in a guy that will NEVER hoist a Lombardi trophy

Also, let me remember this so you don't suddenly say "time to pull out those Trask cards" down the road when he does something(the way you do with so many QBs)

I'll say it again for the cheap seats. I have zero Trasks to pull NN. Reading is hard for you.

Oh I read it. I will just remember this post so when down the line Trask does something special, you won't be able to use the same old line you always use of pulling a guy's cards out that you have laying around.

He's been to the championship and to the SB in 2 straight years as the last pick in the draft. Baker was the 1st overall QB taken and has been on like 5 teams.
Purdy has gotten closer twice.

Purdy > Mayfield

Trask will never hoist a Lombardi either

The idea you can watch a QB play really well, be near top 5 in a lot of passing stats for an entire season, be adamant he will never win anything, but yet be fully confident a career backup is miles better, is insane. It’s not rooted in any objective facts

Purdy > Mayfield
Using trips to SB as your only metric is a terrible idea

With that logic, you’d take Purdy over Josh Allen and Lamar. And you’d be laughed at forever for having that take

If you’d take Purdy over either of those 2, let us know

Eckstein, you are certainly NO EINSTEIN, I never said Trask will hoist one. He's a player I want to see what he can do- I know what the ceiling on Baker is- we have already seen it. I want to see what Trask can do. If thats a problem head over to the Baker thread.

Isn’t every Browns QB a stop gap QB?
