So I finallny got my box from Topps, tons of cards were damaged. Was going to request replacements, they want the Date Code from the box and I swear I cant find it- am I going crazy?

Isnt it usually a random string of numbers located inside the box somewhere?
Or is it tied to the UPC now

Sorry for the dumb question

For what it's worth, I'm a fan of the 2000 Topps Fan Favorite autographs. They look good.

Normally it's printed on the inside lid of the box.

I'd send the lid too so they know it didn't get QC stamped.

Was in a break with a lunchbox box included and almost every card from the box was way OC top to bottom. Like 90/10 bad. It was a joke honestly.

Have yet to even have a remote desire to open or own a single card from this year’s Archives release. I have collected Archives for a long long time and they tanked this year. Simply terrible overall. Even if a hobby box dropped to $89 I wouldn’t touch it.

Agreed....base designs are some of the most boring Topps designs ever, and the only insert that appeals to me (the 1968 Action All-Stars) has a mediocre checklist.

I like some of the autographs, but yeah overall this isn’t my favorite archives release.

Yes. I also like the 1968 Action All-Stars. The old timer Autos are decent.

I had high hopes for those and had set aside a chunk of my budget for them, but the checklist is atrocious. Was hoping for cards of all the 60's stars and autos of guys like Ryan, Bench, Reggie Jackson, Carlton, Carew, Koufax, etc.

Same here.

To make matters worse, I sold my Hobby Case on eBay.

I got that email 2 hours before UPS delivered luckily, so warned the buyer and they agreed to take the partial refund. What a mess.

I'm still waiting on my $150 credit.

The one auto in the collectors boxes looks to be more desirable anyway. One of the two in hobby is almost always of the$5-$10 variety.

I've been seeing a parallel pop up in the past few days called endcap that's not found on any checklists - anyone know the distribution method for this? A few auctions list them as a Target exclusive - just wanted some confirmation.

For a lower cost, fun rip, I think Archives is great. Pulled a /25 Rickey Henderson auto on my first collectors tin/lunch box. Since then, got autos from Jim Rice, Victor Martinez, and a few others.

Trying to complete the rainbow on Adolis Garcia and Corbin Carroll. This is my first rainbow attempt. These 1/1’s are going to be tough. Pretty fun though!
