I just picked up a Pen Pals auto PSA 8. Good value. On card rookie auto, face shows, won't break the bank.

A dual with Kareem Hunt would be even a better value.

That's a great one! I was just looking at one of those a few hours ago. That 2017 elite set is one of my favorites - especially the /149 red parallel.

Thanks for the suggestion. Kinda nice that Hunt is back in good graces with the team for all the dual Mahomes/Hunt rookies from 2017!

Dual autos are a good buy unless one player is a bust or never was good.

Hunt has been far from that.

I agree with this 100%, Hunt came in like he never left and was definitely a huge factor in the teams success this year. Maybe a step slower but the power was there. He picked up so many 3rd & 1s and 4th & 1s this year, he was money on those plays. I like Pacheco but he is pretty much a one trick pony, had him the ball and run straight for the line like a mad man. He doesn't have patience to let holes open up.

Mahomes 17-3 (for a staggering 85% win rate)

Tom Brady (35-13) for 73%

Manning (14-13) for about 50%

I know mahomes 17 is far from 35 still, but the rate and efficiency must be acknowledged

Yep...... And he has only lost to 1 qb not named Tom Brady.

That's why I keep saying this "problem" for the rest of us goes far beyond the Bills, and it's not so much a "Bills can't beat KC" issue as it is a "nobody can beat KC issue". Just so happens Bills run into them the most because we are the 2nd most consistent team in the NFL.

Here's 10 of the 17 KC wins you speak of (and 1 loss):

- SF is 0-2 against KC in the SB
- Philly is about to be 0-2 against KC in the SB
- Allen is 0-4 against KC in the playoffs
- Lamar & Burrow are a combined 1-2 against KC in the playoffs (and that 1 win was Burrow after 13 seconds, the one game that I will say the Bills should have won against KC, and I'll bet KC was just physically and emotionally spent by the 2nd half of that game) Also, no first round bye that year and they had also not yet matured into this clutch version of the "playoff Chiefs" that they are now. That was back when they were pretty much the same team in the playoffs as they were in the regular season. Times have changed.

I agree that Cook appeared to be hurt...he took a few massive shots in the game after breaking some big runs. That cold weather and a direct hits really causes damage IMO.

On the QB sneak where JA jumped in the air and held the ball out I thought he was going to be out....he landed directly on his head when he was coming down. The in stadium replay showed it several times and it looked like it could have been VERY bad

Buffalo isn't going anywhere....they are going to add some pieces with the additional $ they have....I just want to continue enjoying the rivalry with most of the major players being healthy.

I'd be looking for a 2017 or 2018 Patel Mel auto, on card pro uni. The supply of these is truly capped. Even if Fanatics gets him signing, which I think they eventually will, the old auto isn't coming back.

In fairness to Pacheco, the man broke his leg, he's obviously not the same right now. I think he'll be back to form after on offseason to work out and build up, I think Tony Pollard was in a similar situation, but I also think the Chiefs draft a RB this year with the amount of good ones coming in.

I'd really like a Patel Mel jersey. I'm not a memorabilia guy normally, but would be just something neat to have up on display with how big a part of my life Mahomes became. The problem is it can be hard to trust people when it comes to cards, but it seems impossible to trust people when it comes to memorabilia. Anyone know a legitimate place to find a Patel Mel autographed jersey? I have a BGS certified Josh Allen Jersey I'd like to flip towards a Mahomes jersey.

Between both PSA and BGS less than 76 have been graded. IMHO, it's one of Mahomes KEY non rookie year cards to own hands down.

A lot of people will probably want to have every "Silver" (and Topps Chrome base "Refractor" when Fanatics takes over) of Mahomes throughout his career, 2018 will be a big roadblock for them, I could see it being very desirable. I had two but sold them as my main focus is RC year stuff.

I know most on these boards are aware, but I hope the ppl out there get educated about Mahomes Silvers because if you're just wading into these waters now, it can be confusing.

2017: all Mahomes Prizm RCs are silver
2018: very few Mahomes Prizm silvers
