If discussing this game specifically, shouldn't the focal point be "Spags defense was too good"?
Let's consider for something for a moment... because everyone talks about how the Bills choked due to the fact we got the ball back with 3 minutes left and 3 time outs with a chance to win the game, as they were only down by 3.
First, why were the Bills only down by 3 and dependent on their defense to seal the deal?
Because the offense technically came up short on their goal of scoring a TD to remain in the driver's seat.
Second, was Mahomes on the field during the 4th and 5 play that sealed the Bills fate as they "choked yet again"?
And if the Bills didn't choke on that final drive with 3 minutes left, are we not hearing about how the Bills won the game because Mahomes and KC's offense had to settle for 3 points on that final scoring drive?
Side note... I don't think the game was rigged, either. I just think it was bad officiating, on both sides, and it just so happens one of their final mistakes was at a critical point of the game (4th and 1 spot).
I also agree that we "choked" but I'm kind of tired of the Chiefs defense being completely overlooked when it has easily been the most clutch unit on the entire team over their last 3-4 down to the wire playoff / Super Bowl wins.
Chiefs-Bengals AFCCG, Bills-KC last season, KC-49ers SB, Bills-KC this year
In each example above, the opponent's offense had an opportunity to score a "walk-off" TD at the end of the game, but KC's defense came up big.
No conspiracy theories here, just facts. Mahomes is the best QB in the NFL. But anyone that believes he is where he is today without that defense is certifiably insane.

Genuinely curious, why do you feel like the defense gets no credit? The NFL is a team game. Do QBs have more impact on the game than any other player on the filed, sure, but it still takes a team effort. I have seen nothing but love for Spags and the defensive unit throughout this KC run. Chris Jones is a beast. KC has hit home runs through the draft with guys like McDuffie and Bolton amongst others.
There is no recipe or formula. They seem to just win, and each win may look different than the last depending on the matchup.
And for what its worth, I love Josh Allen. He is a freakish talent and watching him play is must see TV for me. I think he is too good not to break through at some point.
People want to point to the catch by Worthy or 4th down spot. Those kind of calls go against every team every game. My satire was an effort to point that out. Obviously you disagree but I though the non face-mask call was worse than the catch and 4th down sport. It cost KC points on that drive.
As for the Worthy catch, we had a clear look from multiple angles and the ball never moved when it hit the ground.
The spot I never thought we got a clear look at so thought the play had to stand. Was it close, absolutely, but Buffalo gets at least 2 yards any time they run Allen out of shotgun. Why they kept trying to sneak it from under center was mind blowing for me. Maybe too much Philly influence.
I definitely appreciate the conversation. Losing a game like that is never easy. I just hate the narrative that because one team has been so good, it can only be because the game is rigged. It is a loser mentality and I am happy to hear you do not share it with so many others.
