The Angels may suck but you can get tickets for $5 on the day of the game and bring in your own food.

We go to at least one game per year, either Astros or Rangers ( when the Reds come to TX)
My prices keep going up because I keep having kids.

I'm planning on trying to go to as many Wednesday day/afternoon games as my work schedule allows it. Last year I took advantage a couple times for like $20 tickets for great seats, I'd buy them on the trolley downtown. I'm sure I'll go to some other games here and there, 10 games would be awesome.

Between crazy parking costs (Thanks Braves) and elevated seat prices....I am done with in person MLB games. I still do go to minor league games on occasion though, but the stadiums are not very close to where I live. When I go visit my childhood home in Toledo, I always catch a couple of Mudhen games....great experience there

I guess Orioles fans are in the minority for now but I have a 13 game 2-seat Sunday plan which I think is a great value. My parking add on through my rep averages out to $10 a game (iirc). Food and beer prices have crept up and are largely lousy, But costs of tix and parking is pretty good value.

Friday night game with Freeman WS HR bobblehead vs. Cubs: Reserve Level Section 3 $174 per ticket after fees. These tickets are directly behind home plate and in the past were the best value vs cost. Expensive, yes. $250 a ticket? I think not. The next night against the Cubs Saturday night game. Same tix are $90(no giveaway). This is of course directly from the Dodgers. I'd guess that eventually third party sites like seatgeek will be a tad cheaper on those. Midweek games against scrubs are $65 for the same seats. I will also note that I do not believe the Dodgers have actually put all seats on sale. Last two years my prefered seating for a cost vs view perspective have been sections Reserve 17, 19, and 21. Somehow there are no tickets available at all in the upper reserve for the games I looked at above. |

Dodger Nation travels REALLY hard. Drives up ticket prices for those games. Yankees and Red Sox have the same effect...Cubs too to a lesser extent. Cardinals I believe also.

We are probably only going to two Toronto games in July when we are on our family vacation. Now that I'm no longer going to the National, there won't be any stops for games in Cleveland or Pittsburgh or Chicago. I find it much more enjoyable and cheaper paying the money for MLB TV and watching every game that way.

Or you can wait until the M's are out of contention, the Dodgers have clinched and the game doesn't mean anything to buy.

I mean I got two field level tickets for ring night for $300. It's basically what I paid for an NLCS game 7 years ago, but like, how many nights will there be ring presentations?

yeah, I looked into Athletics tickets since they will be in Sacramento this year. Looked at Yankees @ Athletics... $200 to $250. Looked at lame teams to see what a cheap game would cost and the best I could find was $45 to sit in the grass. I'll pass. Maybe ticket prices will come down in year two or three after the novelty wears off.

Its about Shohei, last year Dodgers didn’t come to Seattle and the year prior I had tix for Angels and they scratched Shohei with an injury a couple hours before the game. For this particular game though I chose the Saturday night game because I was too worried LA will sit him to rest for the Sunday day game season finale. |

Last year went to five MLB game, 3 AZ, 1 SF, 1 OAK. I suspect this year will be similar. Year before that also five, plus a World Series game (all AZ). I don't see why this year would be any different.
Ticket prices in AZ jumped that year they lost 110 games. That was 2021, so still somewhat affected by Covid. We only went to two games, one specifically to see deGrom. The next season we only went to twice (plus one game in Anaheim) out of protest. Since those two years the D'backs haven't seen much ticket inflation while the rest of the world (including my earnings) has seen a pretty good bounce, so we're back to ~5ish a year. My schedule from last year; MLB, 5 AAA, 1 A, 2 Rookie, 6 AFL, 12

I have a voucher for a Royals game this year, so that's one, and if I can get in on it I have enough points on my credit card to redeem to throw out the first pitch at a Royals game. Those go fast so may not be able to get it. I also really want to go to a Royals away game. I do have half season tickets for my minor league team, the Wichita Wind Surge (Twins AA)

Infield Reserve - First Base MVP II - 32RS - $135.60 each including fees Yeah it's not cheap, but it's also not $1,000. In fact the most expensive ticket for that Friday night game right now is less than $200. And that's on the Dodgers official site.

I'm a Cubs fan but since I live closer to St. Louis than Chicago, I get to more games at Busch. Will hit a Cubs game there every couple years or so but don't mind going to see other teams.... enjoy it even more when the Cardinals lose, lol.
When they have Wednesday games in the summer, they normally start at noon. I get tickets in the front row of the left field bleachers for around $20 each. One year I took a buddy and it was so hot that I jumped back on Stubhub and grabbed 2 more seats that were front row by the left field foul pole... and in the shade for about $18 each. Point being, you can go to a game pretty cheap if you are flexible. Now, that doesn't include the stupid amount I may or may not have spent on food/alcohol. I'm also not one to buy the overpriced merch...even when I go to Wrigley. |

If I'm going to go to a game, I want to sit in the lower deck in the infield....otherwise I'm not going to bother. And those tickets can be pretty pricey depending on team & opponent. |
