The Bears will never amount to anything? They have 9 NFL Championships. How is that never amounting to anything? They have been to the top of the hill 9 times. 41 former Bears in the Hall of Fame. More than any other team. Never anything huh?

Bears fans still show up, because we have a dynasty team. There is a legacy to uphold. We are not fair weather fans. We have seen the good (1985) with the bad (3-13).

Would it be more respectable, if we didn't show up at all like Lions fans over the past 30 years, sans the last 3?

Back to the division thread.

69 Days away from the NFL draft, that will be held in Green Bay. Anyone going to it? Im curious to see how they will lay it out. I know the plan is to put as much as they can onto the actual field itself. As Green Bay isnt set up like a big city would be, to spread stuff out. Getting a room close by would be a nightmare as well.

Nice to see you have crawled out of your hole. Happy New Year! Bears are undefeated in 2025. Can the Lions say the same? Too soon to bring that up?

On the bright side. Ben Johnson finally got to see what a Lombardi trophy looked like. Once he got to Chicago.

I was actually in your hole. Lot of room in there, I can see how you stay so long.

Another sweep on the horizon. Cryleb likely to make his 2nd stay in top5 all-time sacks taken. Can't wait!

I might sneak up there for the experience...but I have a hunch it's going to be a logistical nightmare. They do have the Resch Center next door, I assume they hold some events in there...but I don't see how such a small area can hold 300-400K people at once. I see they're targeting a number closer to 250K...but I'd be stunned if it didn't end up much higher. Getting to and fro if you're not staying near Lambeau? No thanks. Even being in Appleton might be a 2 hour drive.

Caleb is immensely talented.
He can survive the 4 years of the Bears and GTFO.
I think he'll have a pretty good career (once he leaves Chicago).

But yes, Chicago is a terrible place to be an NFL player.
The only worse ones I could think of might be Carolina or Jax, possibly Cle.
NYG and NYJ and Indy aren't great, but still probably better than Bears.

If you want to wear that crown of thorns suit yourself.

No one's trying to take away your right to respond to others' opinions. Just maybe do it with fewer, uh, overtones.

I plan on going. Will never go to a Super Bowl so might as well go to the next biggest event the NFL has.

Rooms are not going to be a problem. Oshkosh has EAA every year and that has over 500K attend a week long air show. Won't find a hotel in GB at this point but lots of hotels in cities a half hour to hour drive from GB.

Though this week they already showed they will be starting to shut down roads around Lambeau in late march with all roads shut down around Lambeau a week before the draft.

Worst thing is going to find parking.

Just saw the Lions away schedule for this year. Yikes.

Road games: Chicago (5-12), Green Bay (11-6), Minnesota (14-3), Washington (12-5), Philadelphia (14-3), Cincinnati (9-8), Baltimore (12-5), Kansas City (15-2) and Los Angeles Rams (10-7).

Yep. Gonna be tough. Unlikely to repeat 15-2. But I still see the divisional road games, Cincy, and the Rams as winnable. Baltimore, KC, and Philly will be tough to beat at home. Hopefully we don't blow through the first two strings of defensive players this season.

Could see this as 4-5 on the road. I will be cheering for the Lions to do better than that.

Can't rule that out. It's a brutal schedule. On the other hand, a healthy Lions team will be a lot for these teams to handle. The window is still open. They're not going to cruise to 15-2 but need to go 11-6 or 12-5 to give themselves a shot at getting in.

Of course you wouldn't reply to my post !! Personally, you have experienced only LOSING with the Bears.Personally, you are rooting for one of the WORST franchises in the NFL.

If you haven't noticed, the game has changed and passed by the Bears. I don't care that the Bears won a NFL Championship in 1932.But I understand why you do because thats all you have.

Barring the same injury issues, I think they will go 6-3 or better

The only ones they don't have much chance in would be @KC and @Cin.
I think @Balt and @Phi will be tough... @GB tough if later in the season.

All of the others are pretty winnable. Rams, Bears, Vikings, Skins, just aren't that good. Det could beat them... they should probably be favored in most of those, 50/50 chance or better imo.

Lions have below average coaching - esp with OC departure (DC not much of a loss), but they still have a LOT of player talent. They will beat most teams - and beat good teams sometimes.

No shot agains @KC or @CIN? Lions are favorites if they play either of those teams week 1.

If you said Baltimore I would believe you.

Goff plays terrible in most away games. Much worse QBR and turnovers vs his home games. That is common knowledge.
They won't hang with Bengals' scoring or KC overall plan/play. KC won't be limping around most of the year with basically no WRs in 2025 like they were in 2024.

Balt will be weaker this next year. Flowers' knee injury at start of playoffs was much more serious than they let on, and Henry will slow down... dude is 32 before end of this next year. Kings get old too.

They could outscore Phila or GB on a good day. It'd depend if 3-4td or 3-4int Goff shows up.

...Detroit's not a bad team... one of the most talented rosters i NFL, but they won't beat most good teams on the road. Their bad "gamble" coaching will often lose it for em even if the players do enough to win. But yeah, see when the games start...

Goff had a higher completion %, passer rating, less sacks and same amount of INTs (6)

If you take away the Houston game it’s not even close. Him not being able to play on the road is laughable.

That post is laughable. On the same tier as EDCollectibles for dumb takes on DC.

I didn't reply to your post, because it was idiotic. Like everything you post. You were talking about me playing with poop. Who says stuff like that? What grade are you in?

How do you know what I have experienced? Ive seen my team win 2 NFC Championships and a super bowl. A lot has happened since 1932.

And you mean, the Bears are one of the winningest franchises in NFL history. 2nd most wins in league history.

I get that you are jealous of me, the Bears and the city of Chicago. But don't make it so obvious!
