The most recent cashout I received this morning was $360 from a request for $400. So yes. Although they didn't merge the most recent cashout request with it like they usually do.

As I've stated before, my port has gotten larger than I intended.
In lieu of a port sale, which seems to bring mostly low % offers,
I am going to run progressively higher sales until everything is gone.

I figured I'd post my results here as sort of an experiment
(since this type of liquidation has been discussed many times previously)
I'll only update once a week so this doesn't feel like spam.

I'm going to start my first sale at 25% off. then increase by 10% each week.

Beginning stats:
3,555 items for sale
$13,757.54 Total Asking Price

Full disclosure, I shipped some items home and removed others
that I don't want to blow out at discount prices.

It looks like recent cash outs may be correct. But I haven't heard from customer service since Feb 4th and I have not received the missing money.

I am still just dreaming of the day I don't need to choose between paying $25 for shipping or not getting my cards for a month and a half

Tried out COMC to get some of my stuff sold. However it does feel that things can take a long time to sell, especially if people constantly try to under cut each other just to make a sale.

IMHO, it’s important to lower prices as you go….as I dont want cards still sitting there ten years after i sent them in…..and i do have a bunch of those.

A lot cards on COMC are a race to the bottom these days.

That's going to happen with 90% of cards; just a function of everyone unloading cards from new sets all the time. It might get a little better once the Marvel cards get taken off ePack, and therefore stop flooding COMC with every release and ePack sale.

You do have another option. Pay expedited for the cards you want in hand right away and bulk/budget for those you can wait on. Like, do you really need to have all 25-ish cards in hand soon?

It's easy to lose sight of what we actually get with COMC. I love that we have this (combined shipping) as an option to what we get on other sites.

COMC went from replying to emails within 24 hours to totally ignoring emails again.. Timely, respectful, customer support barely lasted a week.

COMC seems to take it's users/customers for granted.

Just checked a few...."why arent my cards selling?"

Because the next person puts their cards a few cents lower. But then the next person does so as well, and then the next person does. until you have a devalued card lol.

(I just checked to see why some of my stuff wasnt selling and its basically this.)

I have over 2,000 cards setting on my watch list for over a year a lot of them over 2 years. A good number of them have had over 50% off sales even up to 85% off and they are still there. Still too high for me.
Maybe the value is not really what they price it for. Just because one person is willing to buy a common for $5 not everyone that who wants it is willing.
If people keep dropping their price until they sell that maybe the real value of the card. Yes if you wait long enough you may find someone willing to pay what you value the card to be.
I have always said a little luck is involved. Find the right person at the right time for the price you want.

I have been thinking about selling some of my early Mike Trout cards. Nothing over $200 but currently none are listed on Comc. Based on their "Top 5" that they post on Instagram, he is most recently showing #2. What is the opinion of blowout on whether i should list them on the site or as part of the baseball/eBay auctions kickoff next month?

COMC auctions (even sponsored ones) don't seem to sell for the best prices to me. I'd prefer to price my items and wait around for the buyer who wants it.

Got it. I put a few cards on my watch list for now, but yeah I see...I just dont want it to be like a situation where one card is at 200, and because of race to the bottom, the last person puts it at 99 because desperate to sell.

It’s terrible. 99.9% of high priced cards are way overpriced. I have a bunch of credit and want to buy cards but nothing is priced at or near market value.

I checked your store after reading the above and was surprised by the prices.

A card I really want has appeared on comc. As such, I'm running a 40% off fire sale to see if I can speed raise the funds.

I generally always list things a little high with the expectation of offers, then slowly lower the price until it sells. This is basically me injecting steroids into that.

<------------------- my comc is linked here.

EDIT: Doesn't look to have kicked in yet. I did set it to start today. So, check back if it hasn't kicked in yet when you look. Thanks.
