But again, I could be totally wrong. I'll say it one last time, to each their own.
I'm not a lawyer but I'd say $10-20 is the random discretionary spending limit for my kid on a trip to Walmart. If I take my kid to the movies it's going to be at least $60 for the two of us if we get popcorn and a drink so I figure I'm getting off easy if I buy something for $15

Every new card product is going to have a built-in premium for the gambling element. You're not just buying a consumer product -- you're also buying a gambling product.

It's why Topps can't make products geared towards kids with any chase cards -- the adults looking to gamble or flip cards will hoover them up, due to the relatively limited availability of the product.

I bought a couple of the holiday set ornament tins, didn't have any issues with dinged corners. There is a plastic holder that secures the hanger pack in the middle of the tin.

Assuming these will have the same 59 cards like the other tins and hanger boxes, so not sure why anyone is complaining about the price.

we all on this board live in the cardboard bubble. i get asked by people outside of the card world about random stuff when they see something go mainstream like with skenes. i tell them how much boxes and packs costs and they almost fall over. i really believe this will be the issue with continued growth in future.

You know when fabiani thinks you make sense, you've done something wrong.

The fact is, it's not 2021 anymore. Retail isn't being sold to a bunch of neck-beard flippers. Those days are gone. It's back to being plentiful on the shelves, and kids are buying it again. And no matter how badly you want to pretend like $15 is too much for a mom to buy her kid on a trip to walmart, it's just not reality. You don't have to be a lawyer for that to be a reasonable price for a kid.

Do you ever have anything of value to say? I don't even like Fanatics, and most of what I collect aren't Topps cards at all (90s cards). You just make yourself look foolish every time you post.

I guess not but you make yourself look foolish everytime you call yourself a lawyer when we all know you are only a parking ticket fixer.

How's business?

Seriously he's like the resident Fanatics apologist. Usually when you call him out his standard come back is a personal shot.

You make this too easy. I don't even have to say anything to make you look like an idiot.

So anyone who thinks some of Fanatics overprinting and massively watered down products are overpriced, is a moron?

So how are these cards sold in eggs not going to have damaged corners?

Best thing I read today is that you can’t buy a meal at Taco Bell for $15.

If they are like the holiday ornament tins, the bottom half has a molded piece of plastic that holds the hanger pack in the center of the tin. It's not just loose in there to bounce around.

There's one being opened so you can see the packaging.

I see most colors have two listed parallels. A "color" holo foil and a "color" rainbow. Both are have the same serial print run. Does anybody know how to distinguish between them?

I expressed my opinion. Others are entitled to theirs. Not trying to pick a fight or have internet argument, but it's my opinion that the way to engage more kids is accessibility. I'm aware that Topps isn't looking to sell tins for $5 because they can successfully sell them for $15, but it's my opinion that, for the most part, that isn't growing their adolescent consumer base, but servicing their adult base. If you want to believe that these are being gobbled up by grocery shopping moms for their kiddos, then maybe an Easter Bunny Parallel is indeed perfect for you!

I own a shop and I fully expect at least half of these if not more will be bought my moms/grandmoms.
