Last year when I paid mine, I asked the county office if the government would like to purchase the property at their value since it was way above what 2 separate appraisers said it is.

This kind of real-world accountability doesn't exist in the world of property taxes.

They said my 2022 Camaro was worth 60k. If I could get 60k for a vehicle that’s paid off and has 26k miles, I’d sell it in a heartbeat.

She doesn't have a good side. Talked to the guy I have working for me and looks like a lawyer in town is planning on doing a class action suit. I think I'll go that route. Bumped into my friend a couple streets down and he was just reassessed a year ago because the house was switched over to his wives name from her mothers and his home just tripled.

Looks like in a court of law they'd have to prove the price jump in a year because so far two other people I know well have had their properties reassessed in a year and all are up 2x, 3x, and 2.5x. With zero improvements. I'll be out by the end of the month if they want to pay me the full market value of $541K. I'd buy the lesbians house next to yours, tear it down and put in the trashiest double wide I can find.

So you're saying mines not enough if I sold it? No problem. I have a pile of plywood and a good amount of lumber left over. Enough for a small tool shed, I can have that together by the end of the day and if the assessor sees it that should easily be worth another 1/2 a mil. If not a large refrigerator box on some cinder blocks should put me over the top.
