I'm confused by the email about the Fantastic Store Shop Show April 4-5. That's the weekend of the CSA Chantilly show.

I take this to mean that COMC will be available for drop offs at the Fantastic Store, not the CSA show. Is my understanding correct?

I'm also confused about "Fantastic Store Shop Show." Is the Fantastic Store doing their own show that weekend?

I was planning to drop off to COMC at Chantilly so I hope that’s not the case.

This pattern has been the same for me. It looks like March will see a rise in sales. I think collectors/buyers have figured out their budget following their 2024 income tax calculations and what they owe to the feds/state. Hoping to sell even more myself soon.

The pattern I see is!!! if you drop your prices you sell more.
A flipper I know is complaining about having to hold on to cards longer than he wants to.

Yup. I'm hoping to have my whole inventory gone by the end of the year. Then I'm waiting for the crash.

I'm trying to schedule a $4.99 shipping from COMC and I'm not able to select that option. It appears that COMC is charging me $1 per card for items I purchased through COMC/eBay auctions. Anybody else seen this? I have received no response from emailing COMC.

Never. The message indicates that, but I'm never in that mode. On my Ready for Shipment list there is a $1.00 for shipping in each of the rows for my eBay auctions wins.

These are all <$3 purchases. Do the cards have to be processed as Elite to be listed at auction?

That appears to be exactly what is happening. Do they charge both the seller and buyer a fee for this? This is the definition of highway robbery...

yes - if an item is not elite already you have to pay $2 extra (usually items that are priced below $100 require this upgrade) which is something I've always hate

The sellers that are auctioning the cards I’m buying for $1 are going to have to sell a whole lot of cards to make a profit. Thanks for all of the responses. I’ll have to start figuring in a $1 extra in bidding. I buy cards of local players for reselling. I routinely will bid $1 on any card and occasionally get one for that price. Maybe I’ll buy some stock in COMC.

make sure you have it set to auto pay for auctions won, otherwise you're paying 10% ish extra

It is only 99-cents to list at auction now, and cards do not have to be processed as Elite for an auction anymore.

All the fees are clearly shown before submitting for auction or buying a card at auction, so not sure how it is a "scam" in any way. COMC is a business - and yes they are in business to make a profit...

The "scam" might be that the cards were not processed as Elite and they are being charged for shipping as such. He might have a point here. I do not know how the new auctions are working from that side of it. Since COMC is doing the PWE thing finally I am not sure if anything has changed with auctions that are under a certain threshold and especially when they are immediately transferred on site. An interesting situation that is not as cut and dried as y'all are making it out to be.
