Very cool display! You picked some great examples of Psylocke art there. Always cool to see solutions so these beautiful art cards are not tucked away in a box.

For the autos, are you worried about fading? Like putting it somewhere where it’s not too much direct sunlight or using UV impermeable acrylic?

Funny you should ask... I'm hyper aware of autograph fading issues, just from being around cards for so long. Any larger framed pieces, I have them use UV "proof" glass. I haven't started on any large Marvel items yet. I'm just now starting to display all my stuff, instead of storing it. Example:

I go the extra mile on expensive stuff:

All my sports stuff will be in my exercise room and the expensive stuff will be behind the UV glass & behind closet doors.

I do have one example of a signed, framed piece that's been "out" for 3 or 4 or 5 years. It's also got UV glass and I guess is behind blinds the vast majority of the time:

The autographs show no sign of fading...yet!

With all that said, I just finished my "Marvel" closet prep in my office room this weekend:

So, all my expensive Marvel stuff that I get framed up will go in there. Doors will be closed most of the time. I again go the extra mile and use Pro-Mold one touches that are supposed to have 5-year UV protection on all my cards.

I'll post pictures when I'm all done. Maybe by 2026?

Can’t wait to see the finished Marvel closet!

Those are some very rad displays. Incredible Jordan. UV glass/acrylic is the way to go for sure and I usually pay the extra for that when custom framing my uncut sheets (not *as* important with them since it’s not an auto, but still don’t want a faded sheet).

I totally forgot Pro Mold one touches themselves are UV resistant (although it’s odd for just 5 years…what’s changing for that to go away). Safe to say your Marvel cards will be fine under Pro-mold UV protection, under a UV protected glass frame, in a dark closet

I take it(the whole 5 years thing) as 5 years in direct light. I haven't really looked into it but like you mention...I have them behind a blind, in a closet with the doors shut most of the time & in UV resistant Pro-Molds. I think they'll be alright

I’m gradually building a complete set of Star Wars 40th Anniversary buybacks (vintage cards stamped with the 40th Anniversary logo and inserted into the 40th Anniversary set). 330 cards total (5 sets of 66 cards each). These 4 puts me just over 80% complete (265/330, 65 to go).

My likelihood of finishing this project is zero. The set is 8 years old and the well is all but dry, but still nice to see a little bit of progress.

Here’s a breakdown on where the collection stands. I really hope to track down the final 4 red cards to finish that subset…

Blue Needs (29 cards): 1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 22, 25, 26, 28, 30, 35, 37, 39, 42, 43, 44, 45, 55, 56, 60, 65, 66.

Red Needs (4 cards): 75, 77, 81, 83

Yellow Needs: Complete

Green Needs (10 cards): 202, 205, 207, 213, 215, 221, 222, 232, 238, 247

Orange Needs (22 Cards): 265, 266, 267, 268, 270, 271, 280, 287, 290, 296, 298, 299, 302, 303, 304, 305, 306, 307, 309, 312, 315, 318.

If anyone has any, please let me know!

I'm not much of a non-sport collector, but thought these were pretty cool. Will probably pickup a few more

Sharp looking cards, especially that Iron Man and Doom. Flair is such a visually cool set

EGO is a quirky character that has always appealed to me. I also think there is nothing more comic booky than a character saying their own name. The image used is from his first on panel comic appearance. I will likely send it to the slab factory.

And these oversized pop art achievement cards got cheap… picked up these two….

I love the note about comic book characters saying their name, FFF. Very Pokemon, very Moby Dick.

Love the look of the CGC Pristine 10 slabs… showed off both of these raw a month or two ago in a pickup thread and here are the results that came back this week…

Card backs on these are kind of cool as well…

What a cool piece- it’s nice to see the Zelda franchise getting some attention in art.

Zelda is also my go-to smash bros character

Anyone ever have this happen? I saw a sketch for sale that I used to own (way back) and must have sold. I bought it back.

Couple oversized recent pickups

Original X-Men by George Vega. Man that PSA slab is huge and I may crack it out.
