You probably like him as he was UTenn alum, and that's fine.
He was a purely experimental NFL pick in the late rounds. Most teams only saw him as a TE tryout. Maye has turned out pretty well also.

Do you think JM3 has trade/roster value, in the NFL?
(when guys like ARodg, Mac Jones, Russ, Cousins, Mariota, Winston, Wentz, Brissett, Zappe, ZWilson, TLance, etc etc etc sit unsigned)
I think he's a definite preseason cut, or he could possibly be QB3 again on practice squad or if Pats choose to carry three.

you must have thought i was trying to make the argument for bringing in milton to compete with stafford for the starting job. i am saying bring in his raw talent as the #3 QB, who, with a couple years of tutelage from mcvey, could be turned into a real NFL QB when stafford retires. then if it dont work out, at worst you have a pretty good sized tush-push qb. Now, if i were making the point of bringing in a former Vol QB just because i like him, i would have been jonesing for Hendon Hooker, who has been trapped in a terrible situation in Detroit

Not sure Hooker is in a "terrible situation." He's it if Goff is injured. Lions are a top 10 team in the NFL.

Titans clearly drafting Cam Ward, no way they invest $82 million in Dan Moore Jr at the blind side for Will Levis, LOL.

I mean they could still trade down a few spots and get Sanders, Dart, etc, but they are taking a QB, that much is obvious

If Titans take Ward and don't trade with Giants then the Giants should be the first team to forfeit a season though drafting one of these rookie qbs is pretty much forfeiting anyway lol.

Raiders sign Chinn and a few scrubs, that’s it? Definitely got worse in free agency losing Spillane, Moehrig, Hobbs, and Diablo. Offensively they got, better? PFF’s worst OL Alex Cappa, and 34 year old Geno. So much for all the cap space they supposedly had. Guess it’s all going to Geno, lol. People think the Giants will be bad next year, but wait until you see the Raiders D set new records for points and yards allowed in a season. After Crosby, Wilkins, and I guess Chinn, they got nothing. If I’m Pat Graham I refuse to coach this slop.

Still no vet QB... bodes well for JJ McCarthy's health/rehab. They'll probably grab whoever falls through the cracks for QB.

They could also trade for Joe Milton. I'm sure Vrabel is working on it. They can probably get him for a 3rd or 4th round pick and I've read reports that Titans have interest in trading for him Then they could trade #1 pick for a haul of picks to fill other needs
