I don't think anyone said conspiracy. I was just saying I wasn't sure which reason was the reason why my estimated date pushed back a month. And if it was because of the automatic reset from being on hold, I wanted others to hear about it in case it happens to them so they didn't freak out like I did.

This is just crazy to me!! Submission received 2/7 still in order prep. but submission received 2/26 moved to R&I last night? Sub from 2/26 was sent in the same box as a Value Plus Submission

I wanna know what has happened there? They were doing so good for a couple of years after they stopped needing the lottery submission system.

3 weeks now in Assembly with Green Check for two different orders. Frustrating.

PSA is significantly backwards up. Not pandemic backed up, but if doing bulk orders, expect long wait times. I have 4 orders at PSA and 2 of them have been in research since 1/10 and 1/24. If these were sports I would have missed my window, but being Pokemon the window is still open.

It's inching closer to pandemic levels (assuming you didn't use a middleman back then, which was even worse).

Come on, let's be real. I had a sub during the pandemic that took 16 months.

They're currently taking about 2-3 months for bulk, due to a rush of orders that arrived at the beginning of January due to their year end bulk special. They're working through a brief bottleneck, but it's not anywhere in the realm of the same world as the pandemic delays.

16 months was a direct sub, or through middleman? I’d have to look at my history, but I don’t think any of my direct orders at that time came anywhere close to 16 months. Now my middleman orders….Yes

Yeah, we can meet halfway here. My bulk sub that took 16 months was with a different grading company (uhh anyone need any BGS 9.5 Zion base prizms?), but I did have direct non-bulk Regular service subs with PSA taking 5-6 months in late 2020-2021.

If you look at the order totals in the pcsports thread, it looks like they're at least holding steady or gaining ground. There are currently about 10 less orders outstanding than there were on 2/21.

I have no interest in participating in grading if TAs slow. Too much risk. I'd rather actually work my real job

Pokemon exploded recently, they are going to hit nearly 1 million pokemon cards a month pretty soon.

January Value Bulk Special (1990-Present)
104 Cards
Arrived: 2/7
Grading: 3/13

This is approximately 5 weeks between those steps which compares to about 6 weeks for my prior order.

Yessir, this right here. Pokemon is currently going through a pretty big boom.

And that boom will continue. Sports has slowed tremendously and with no significant baseball prospects the numbers will be steady. However, Caitlin Clark Prizm will likely be a top graded card this month.

Wow. PSA needs to start charging TCG at the same level as all other cards. There's no reason it should be $3 cheaper a slab.

Do we know if the regular TCG Bulk service is the least prioritized service? I have an order on this bulk service that has been in research since January 30th. I have emailed PSA and they say there is no hold on my order

No reason?

Volume and Complexity:

Pokemon cards tend to be submitted in higher volumes than sports cards, which can allow PSA to streamline the process and potentially offer lower prices. Additionally, the grading process for Pokémon cards might be perceived as less complex than that of sports cards, potentially reducing labor costs.

Market Value:

While both Pokémon and sports cards can be valuable, the overall market value of sports cards, especially those of top players or rare releases, can be significantly higher than that of many Pokémon cards. PSA might factor in the potential value of a card when setting grading fees, leading to higher prices for sports cards.

Seeing so many submissions moving exponentially faster than mine. This is my first submission. Did I do something wrong? At what point is it worth reaching out? (I watched multiple videos and spoke to friends with experience. Yes it is possible I messed something up but I put in the effort to not do that.
