Batgirl, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Power Girl, Wonder Woman & Zatanna are great,

but I really like Hawkgirl, Silver Banshee, Stargirl, & Zealot too

Have those sets been announced Dyna? Both Batman Metal and Superman Fleer Ultra sound like great sets. Almost convinced myself to buy a box of this due to price but I thought I hate Annual and think it's boring, doubt DC changes that lol but those two sets I'd be in on even at double-triple the price of Annual lol

This was posted in another thread. I'd have to find it but Fleer Ultra Superman was posted somewhere else. We should expect both sets. And a DC Masterpieces eventually. They should be pretty big hits imo

I like the look of a lot of this set honestly. Backscatters are not for me at all. But I really like the B&W base variants. Might have to put a set together of those once it hits ePack/COMC

I've been shown two preliminaries in the past by artists that had been turned down by Cryptozoic/DC. The odd thing was, the replacement sketches weren't that different and got approved.

the green parallels are numbered to 499 I think, like 23-24 Marvel Annual

Opened up my two boxes last night and I think I did pretty well.

The Auto, and Gold Scatterback and Man Bat Gold Shimmer /88 came in the same box. The numbered Knight Terror and Suspended Animation came in the other box together. One each of the Lenticular's were from each box.
The Harley Silver Scatterback is also horribly miscut.

I also came away with roughly 25 cards missing from the base set.
Happy to answer other questions if anyone is curious.

The titans lenticular is a "tier 4" which is 1:160 packs. The deadman green was indeed /499.

Also posting the other bit of the 'hits' here as I was elsewhere informed the Gold Wonder woman is a box hit.

Im digging the influx of DC sketches. I know Crypto had them, but cool to see all these new ones.

Default 2023-24 DC Annual (Upper Deck, 2025)

Not sure what my future collecting plans will be with DC (I think a lot of marvel collectors are probably on the fence like me). But I just wanted to get a Superman card, and it was pretty cheap.

Knowing very little about DC comics as a whole, I looked it up. Knight Terrors was a cross-over event from 2023. Kind of a weird idea to include in a set that came out in 2025 (though I fully realize this is marketed as a 23-24 Annual set).

Given how long trading card sets take to come out it kind of feels like it's the norm these days.

Same…I have no idea what’s going on in DC haha. Probably just gonna pick up some random ones I think look cool. Maybe the cards will get me more familiar with the characters and storylines.

I was loosely debating starting a Superman or Batman collection but I cant decide on which one.

I have yet to see any of the Premieres set from the checklist. Might not be a real insert in the release (which is a bummer because that is one less card of the Main Man out there).

You would think one would have popped up on the bay by now, not a good sign

Interesting indeed....if the pull rates are consistent you should see one about 1:13 boxes....so none appearing may mean an error in the initial checklist (it may be epack exclusive, may be achievement, or may be emitted completely...although less likely)
I mean it is in the sell sheet....

For the Marvel Annual sets the Premieres were acetate cards awarded for finishing in the top 100 in weekly ePack Pack Wars wins. I assume the same thing for the DC Annual set. It’s a fun checklist though. Sometimes Pack Wars sells out before all can be awarded.

Premieres
Serial numbered /99. 20 point card stock.

P-2 Lex Luthor
P-3 Batman
P-4 The Joker
P-5 Wonder Woman
P-6 The Cheetah
P-7 The Flash

P-9 Aquaman
P-10 Black Manta
P-11 Green Lantern
P-12 Sinestro
P-13 Martian Manhunter
P-14 Lobo
P-15 Harley Quinn
P-16 Amanda Waller
P-17 Green Arrow
P-18 Merlyn
P-19 Shazam! (The Captain)
P-20 Black Adam
P-21 Nightwing
P-22 Deathstroke
P-23 Raven
P-24 Trigon
P-25 Blue Beetle

Is this weird? Out of three loose boxes so far I've pulled the same configuration;

1 card out of /88 (gold linearity)
1 Gold Backscatter

I thought both of these were like 1/4 boxes or something, but it seems like it's no
BTW pulled a Catwoman, Batman, and Starfire out of /499.

The /88s are Black Canary, Black Adam and Green Lantern (Jon Stewart)

Wish my backscatters were better with Kid Flash, Punchline and the Grifter
