The Burrow and Purdy comparison has ruined it

Russell to NYG has to be the last QB domino to fall...

Will Pitt end up with Aaron Rodgers,
trade for Cousins/Carr,
or sign a different FA quarterback (Wentz, Bridgewater, Huntley, Flacco)?

Far too talented a roster to roll with any 2025 rook.
Mason Rudolph has been very average-to-below.

Feels like Rodgers will sign with Steelers. What a lot of people expected all off season. If Steelers turn him down, he may be on the sidelines waiting for a playoff team to get a QB injured.

Diggs signs with Pats on a 3 year deal. 69 with 26 guaranteed. I doubt he sees all that especially if the 26 is front loaded. Good to see him going to a team not winning anything.

That is absolute robbery by Diggs. Wow.
He's old, off major injury, and almost as done and washed up as Godwin (who also got a large bag to likely do nothing in 2025 and beyond).

Diggs and Kirk Cousins should tour the country teaching young NFL players how to get paid faaaaar more than they actually produce.
Derek Carr and Sam Bradford and Desean Watson and Albert Haynesworth and others could be guest lectures on that series also.

Shedeur to Pittsburgh maybe? Imagine the potential QB room/possibilities:

Rodgers (QB1), Rudolph (QB2), Shedeur (QB3), and Prime (I'm just here to criticize Artie Smithers).

Hard Knocks dream scenario.

$26 million guaranteed. As a Pats fan I'm fine with it. They have plenty of cap space to use and they need real WR. He could be a bust but if he even looks as good as he did with the Texans that will be a huge upgrade for Maye.

$120 million in perhaps the worst FA class ever. NE has to waste money on someone.

You're fine with Diggs when they could've had DK Metcalf or Davante Adams???

Ok.

31 year old WR coming off an ACL and isn’t the greatest teammate. Seems like a steal.

patriots aren't really set up to contend for at least a few years anyway if/when drake pans out

don't see the harm in the signing

They pursued Metcalf but he wanted to go somewhere else. It happens.

But yeah I'd rather have Diggs than Adams (assuming the doctors did their job well when they signed off on his knee).

But they didn't get those guys. I'm fine with Diggs because they need someone and he's the best option left.

Seriously? How can you make that argument?

Hopkins:

2024 - 56/610/5
2023 - 75/1057/7

Adams:

2024 - 85/1063/8
2023 - 103/1144/8

Both dealt with erratic QB play, but I'd rather have Adams.

Hopkins shouldn't be in the NFL anymore
Diggs should be in the NFL if he is healthy
Adams is in the middle

Who ends up with Amari Cooper now? I'm curious to see where he ends up.

Sounds like a future Chiefs WR.

I posted these exact details way back in this or some other thread where someone said he was washed. 85 catches, 1000 yds, and 8 TDs, - they make just about any NFL team

Andrew Berry might get fired sooner rather than later

Getting a 3rd round pick for Amari Cooper is still a wild trade

The same year he got Jerry Jeudy for a 5th and 6th.

At least he has something good on his resume.
