I turned on OKC for a second, saw Shai make a couple swish 3s, left. Didn't know about Luka's ejection. Was he talking to official or a fan?

My general impression is Thunder are a technically good team that may not fare well against whichever of the top 5 teams in the East makes it through. Depends on how their long range is hitting. Yeah I broadened my thing to include Milwaukee, after seeing how Bobby Portis looked with fresh legs and how the Wolves coughed up a 20 point lead on a 34-3 Milwaukee run in a game they actually needed.

Pacers went through the motions against Wiz, who were out for revenge after their 169-118 drubbing. Came back from 14 down, as expected. Nesmith on resting minutes played the entire fourth and knocked down the critical three with 1:34 left to put the team ahead by 5. Mathurin got cooking after a while but the defensive intensity regressed. Furphy looked good on defense. Everyone missed easy shots.

At least the Knicks/Celtics game was close. NYK can't beat those top teams, though.

Don't understand the refs ejecting Luka. After he was gone, OKC went on a tear to win the game. Did refs want to help OKC, was whatever Luka said to another player that bad? Didn't the other player start it? Did the other player get ejected also for starting it?

Seemed quite unfair and ticky tack. Larry Bird would have then been ejected almost every game.

Luka had something going with a fan for some time. Ref apparently misinterpreted the bad language as being directed at him, or thought it was inappropriate for a player to continually mouth vulgarities at a paying customer. Look at my post above: linked three interpretations.

He was going back and forth with a fan and the ref assumed it was directed towards him bc the first time he go t'd up it was so he t'd him up again and tossed him

You're welcome, OKC. The refs had your back. When can teams start ejecting the refs themselves ?

I think LA is pretty happy after those 2 games vs OKC. They dominated the first game and probably would have won the 2nd game if Luka wasn't ejected. They have to be feeling good about coming out of the West.

LA fans unironically claiming favoritism for another team is the best.

I don't think OKC has showed their full hand vs LAL yet. OKC have 0 to play for right now.

It would be a great series though.

I just think their coach may be the difference.

Although in a late game situation, I'd take Luka over Shai, even though Shai is as good as it gets as a closer.

Based on recent post history, someone isn't taking ShayVP's upcoming coronation well.

Breathe. Life is so much more abundant when you emulate the Bobby McFerrin / Viet Brunson Team $GBG (Get Bucket Glazers) mission statement: Don't worry, be happy.

Finally the showdown with both trade pieces healthy. Should come down to the wire. Mavs ain't no pushovers.

No reason to overthink this ninja. Luka is gonna continue to torch the Mavs.

Been the story of his season thus far. Odd how they've decided to utilize him this year. They seem dead set on retaining the offense-by-committee approach
which was in place back when Luka got sidelined with the early season injury. AD rarely sees over 13 shot attempts.

Lululemon/Fossil's output are never the issue with the Fakers. It's their 2nd half team defensive intensity.

Still only a 3 point game despite James Corden going thermonuclear.

It's why I'm praying for a Lakers/Cavs finals.

Cavs can do whatever they want vs that defense, while at the same time protect the rim and make the Lakers earn everything.

Fakers making the 2025 Finals requires three 6 leaf clovers, a sasquatch clavicle, and a bronze Zion laughing buddha.

Trademark 2nd half defensive implosion in progress. Not a single overthought.

We'll see if Lulu can close this one out.

Always feels like pulling Steve Buscemi teeth taking Fakers ML.

Fossil takeover like Jurrassic World Rebirth.

Absolutely haram that he's still outrunning/outhustling a bunch of overpaid twenty somethings.

Only reason its within 10 is Lakers on a B2B. Mavs a depleted shadow of a once proud franchise.

I can’t remember a louder Dallas crowd on TV than every time he scored in that first quarter.
