Default COMC sells your cards on ebay?

I sent in some cards to COMC and today when searching ebay I see one of them for sale from COMC for more than my asking price!

Is this normal?

Thank you

Yes. The higher cost on eBay vs COMC covers the fees eBay tacks on.

Interesting. I noticed if I changed my asking price on COMC the ebay price is updated soon after.

They've been selling stuff on eBay for a number of years, I think in my 7 years on COMC, about 20-30% of my sales have come via eBay, so it's certainly very helpful at moving inventory.

Also keep in mind, if you're buying a card on eBay and COMC is the seller,
you can buy it cheaper on COMC.com.

it's kind of a scam imo

anybody that sees a card they want from COMC on ebay you can get it for 13% less on their website but they don't really advertise that

Yeah, I am sure eBay would be ok with COMC listing that kind of information on the listings.

I realize that now. Good thing I've bought at most only a couple of cards from COMC on ebay.

Just remember that when you sell cards on COMC and place them on sale (via a promotion) the sale price will NOT show on eBay. eBay prices are based on the COMC list price, not the sale price.

So if you want a card off eBay being sold by COMC, be sure to login to your COMC account and search for the card. If it's on sale on COMC it will be dramatically cheaper than via eBay.

Purchasing directly on COMC.com is cheaper, but you also have to wait longer for shipping. If you purchased a single card, the shipping cost for "Rushed" on COMC and eBay would be same ($5.99). Packaging time for the COMC order is currently at 6 days. For a purchase today, the estimated delivery date via COMC is April 19. Shipping via eBay purchase is expected to arrive April 14–19.

One exception to these rules is when COMC runs auctions. You have to bid on those through eBay, they don't take auction bids through the site.

If you have a balance on COMC, you can set it up so that the payment is automatically made and it will appear your COMC portfolio shortly after.
