Dec TCG special

Delivered end of dec
Rec by PSA Jan 9th
R&ID early Feb
Grading beginning of April
Assembly with checkmark last week.
Est completion date was 11th.

Just chilling with green check still. Had another order in the same box that was TCG bulk special same cards, all 151. Other one has been done since early March. FIFO my ass. They opened box took a nearly identical sub out and did it and put this one back in the box that's been dragging ass for months.

Why do you expect PSA to be FIFO? This theory has been debunked a million times on this forum.

Generally speaking it's close to being in order of delivery. This is one is isn't remotely close. I've had other orders jump this one, a box of same service levels split and be over a month apart on completion. Never seen it to this degree. Email they sent me said some #@#@#@#@#@#@#@#@ about batches.

He has a youtube channel. NEO Cards & Comics. He interviewed Nat recently and believe that is where Nat said PSA sources their slabs domestically.

Is it normal for a submission to disappear from the website because it’s taking too long for them to receive it? I dropped off a submission in person about a month ago and it still hasn’t been received and now the submission isn’t showing because it wasn’t sent by their “receive by date” since it was dropped off in person.

My order was sent in with 6 other sports orders and they are all done and back with the exception of a ticket order that is in assembly.

yeah. I have seen the same. I was saying that in a single order, i put TCG and sports cards together. 100% tcg orders are going a lot slower

Ahhh, I misunderstood. I didn't even know that was currently allowed. I will have to try it out. Thanks!

My complete date was 4/8 last week. I ended up emailing them last Thursday 4/10. They responded the same day with a canned response. But there was one sentence that said "I can see there is work being done on your order today." It's a 30 card order in blue check assembly, still hasn't popped as of today. I guess QA saw some grade(s) or labels that need a redo? I'm not sure what work would take so long on a 30 card order.

Anybody have experience with their Quality Assurance process. Had an order with 3 of 4 cards return with damage on them in the slab that was not present prior to submitting them. I reached out to PSA with this and they are telling me to ship back the slabs for them to review and determine if there is damage present that’s their fault. Strangely, they’ve only requested pictures of the slabs once I received them, nothing about pictures prior to sending them for grading. Has anyone gone through this before? What are the odds that they actually compensate me for the damage done?

While PSA doesn't explicitly state that it will pay compensation for damaged cards, it does offer a Financial Guarantee for cards damaged during their submission process. This guarantee covers the difference in value between the grade assigned and a lower grade due to damage. However, there are limitations, such as damage caused by improper storage, environmental factors, or manufacturer defects.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Financial Guarantee:
PSA offers a Financial Guarantee on graded cards, which essentially covers the difference in value if a card is damaged during their process.
Claim Process:
If you believe PSA damaged your card, you need to contact their customer service and file a claim, providing proof of the damage and when it occurred.
Limited Coverage:
The guarantee doesn't cover damages caused by environmental factors like sunlight, mold, or water damage. It also doesn't cover manufacturer defects or damage resulting from improper storage.
Claim Results:
While some users have reported receiving a refund or store credit for downgraded cards, others have stated that the most common result is a voucher or credit to PSA.
Key Considerations:
Improper Storage:
PSA clearly states that they are not responsible for damages caused by improper storage or environmental factors.
Proof of Damage:
You will need to provide evidence of the damage and when it occurred to support your claim.
Declared Value:
The Declared Value you provide for each card plays a role in reimbursement if the card is lost or damaged.
Waiver:
Be aware that you sign a waiver when submitting cards, which can release PSA from liability for damages.
In summary, while PSA offers some protection against damage during their process, it's not a guarantee of full compensation in all cases. You'll need to carefully consider the limitations of their Financial Guarantee and provide clear evidence of damage to support your claim.

Thanks for the response! I feel like they will probably try to weasel their way out of any financial compensation here but I guess we will see!

Yeah it has moved through each step pretty darn quickly. I imagine it'll be in Assembly for a while, which is okay.

Wish the order I had arrive on 3/7 would go into grading. Heck, I have another similar order that arrives in the 19th of March that hasn't even been accepted yet. Really wish I'd see some movement on one of them

They don't need pictures of your cards pre-slabbing because all your cards are pre-scanned when they receive them for exactly this scenario; these scans are what you see when they ask you to review them during R&ID when they're available to ensure label accuracy. PSA can look at the condition of every single card they receive before it's ever touched by a grader because of these pre-scans. Even after grading when these pre-grading-scans are no longer available for the submitter to view, PSA still has them.
