Great land spot for Quinn. Dallas or LAR or Minn or Pitt would've been good also. ...I'm a bit miffed Rams or Cowboys didn't take a QB... but I can see why they'd wait until next offseason. This crop of quarterbacks is as weak as any in memory. |

All I have is eye test. Watching 100s of hours of football ..
Like most of us Quinn ewers just seems like at worst a 2nd or 3rd round pick I get the injury concerns.. but still 7th round ? |

Liking the last pick by the Broncos Caleb Loehner a monster TE target at 6ft7 something Bo Nix doesn’t have

I don’t know. Felt like Texas should have rolled Arch out there in some spots when Ewers was struggling. But I get the injury thing

It was such a great day. Much nicer than yesterday. Today had a little less people at Lambeau as well. The later rounds are all usually more interesting to me.

A few pictures I took at the Draft yesterday. Stood in line about an hour and got Nick Collins’ auto. Saw some of the 4th and 5th round picks and saw every imaginable football jersey ever. (I had a Favre on myself) Some of my favorite obscure Packers jerseys I saw included Roell Preston, Jeff Janis, and Ed West.

I had the opposite. Greg McElroy/AJ Mccarron vibes. I was kind of surprised how bad he was with the first round hype. Carson Beck as well. Neither of those guys survive their rookie contracts.

600,000 people attend the draft in Green Bay. Green Bay crushed the draft. NFL was thinking before the draft happened 250,000 over 3 days would be good numbers in GB. No one thought Green Bay could have handled those numbers but the draft went off without a hitch. With how well it went off there is no doubt in my mind that sometime in the future Green Bay will once again be given the draft. It might be another 10-15 years as they go through different cities again but it will happen again.

Maybe that was the cause of his arm being weak and inaccurate, we shall see. I saw very low pocket presence as well. He felt more like a product of being on a great team rather than being the reason for the great team. Arch looked better for the few snaps I saw him in.
Dolphins have a weak QB room. He has full opportunity to outplay Wilson for the back up role. I don't have any faith in Wilson putting in the work to be a productive QB. Tua is ok, but he is never playing 17 games. Tua will be cut after 2027 season. Saving like 80 million in salary. Road can be open Ewers if he impresses in spring. |

@SamMonsonNFL
I've lost the guy who sent it to me, but imagine the Browns had drafted the players in this order: 5. Mason Graham 33. Shedeur Sanders 36. Carson Schwesinger 67. Quinshon Judkins 94. Harold Fannin 126. Dylan Sampson 144. Dillon Gabriel +Jags 2026 first-round pick. It would be universally celebrated as a phenomenal draft.

Falcons say 21 year old Jax Ulbrich son of DC Jeff Ulbrich was visiting his parents house saw his father's Ipad open and had Sanders phone number on it so he wrote it down and later was used to prank call Sanders saying the Saints drafted him.

The browns had a phenomenal draft - exactly how it played out. Fannin is a pick I really, really like. |

To have that much draft capital, and come away with such little talent at premium positions (QB, LT, WR, DE, CB). Maybe the idea is that the team is still too far away and this is the draft before the draft to put it all together.

Pick#2-Dont know much about the LB they have Pick#3- Judkins- a really nice tough RB to play old fashioned NFC North football Pick#4- Fannin- a decnt TE that could do well Pick#5- here is where they go off the rails- DILLON GABRIEL, WORST PICK OF THE DRAFT. Snagging this guy round 3 was idiotic. I can guarantee you that they could have gotten him 5th rd. This is the biggest reach for a QB I have seen in some time. And in the end, he's gonna battle against the 5th rounder Sanders for a job Pick#6 Dylan Sampson. Why another RB here? You just took Judkins 2 picks ago Pick#7 Sanders. This is the guy they really wanted, why not reach up and take him where you took Gabriel if you are gonna reach for a QB? They could have ultimately took Sanders here or Gabriel, and they reached here to get Sanders to snag him via trading up to ensure the Eagles didn't grab him. The Browns simply do NOT know what they are doing. They now have 5 QBs on one team, and if you throw them in together, mix em all up, they likely do NOT have the future QB of the franchise on this team. I feel sorry for Browns fans, this organization is a joke Last edited by Floridacardguy; 04-28-2025 at 06:06 AM. |
