That’s assuming they release on schedule. They’re still on the Wemby RC timeline, correct? Or is is the current rookie class? I don’t think I’ve seen Topps release for the current class.

I know it was because of a lockout, but Panini had 2011-12 and 2012-13 Rookies in the same product. Could Topps do the same thing. 2024-25--2025 -26 in the same product to get a Wemby Licensed "RC"??

But it’s gonna be his topps rookie. Sure, it’s a fourth year card, but it’s his first appearance on a topps card in a spurs uniform.

I wonder if they will do "Topps Now" like they do in other sports? Panini Instant has been mostly flop even though there are a few cool cards that have come out, and it would probably be the same concept(but maybe with better overall design?)

Topps will definitely have Topps Now since they are already doing it in a limited fashion in football and basketball.

I hope the stadium club will be similar to what they have for soccer, definitely that and some topps chrome, no idea about anything else.. maybe the finest as well. Hope the pricing will be collector friendly..

Finest was my Topps release back in the day, so it would be quite cool to be able to jump back into that product again.

As someone who likes NBA HOF auto cards, I have also been quite envious of the Topps Five Star releases that have landed for MLB. So I am intrigued to see if we get something similar in basketball.

Makes sense since the Panini run of licensed NHL cards was same month of the year for start/stop. Didn't Panini start NBA in October 2009 officially? Hence the UD/Topps un-logo'd cards of Curry.

Yup, there was a hard cut-over in October 2009.

There was a flurry of releases from Topps & Upper Deck in the lead-up to the switch. Upper Deck even managed to get two Exquisite releases out in two months! We had 2008-09 Exquisite Collection land on 10th August 2009, with 2009-10 Exquisite Collection arriving on 1st October 2009, before the switch over later that month.
