The big reason our kids scored 8 in the 1st was at that time of day and the field orientation, the sun was directly in the pitchers eyes and behind the batter/catcher/umpire. He really couldn't see. I was quite surprised when they allowed our pitcher to come out in the bottom half and use sunglasses because the umpires claimed that was a no no the 1st game of the season. The sun got hidden by clouds and then went down after that 1st inning which is why the scoring went down.

Our Government Branch Chief finally sent an e-mail this morning to my boss wanting to know why she took another person off our hardware team and moved them (no new person will be hired) when we are already understaffed and have 382 tickets in out queues.

First question out of my bosses mouth to me was, "did you tell them that?" No, but is the lesson here that we are to not inform the government (who pays us) personnel moves that affect them? I told here there are so many disgruntled people on the hardware team (including the person he moved) that anyone could have said something. Of course it was me, but it wasn't to the lead or the branch chief, it was to my friend, the Division Chief.

I received my e-mail from the Savannah Bananas last night stating that I made it to the next route of the lottery and to confirm my phone number. I should be getting notification to purchase tickets on the 9th.
