Anybody know if people started pumping those sun and moon era tag team cards? Even the full arts were pretty dirt cheap a couple of years ago and seems like they judt spiked across the board. I kind of zoned out for a bit since evolving skies and hadn't paid attention. Now all of a sudden they're pretty spendy. Did some influencers decide to pump another older set or whatever?

It’s full arts across the board. I always thought tag teams were underrated simply because you don’t have a lot of cards that feature multiple Pokemon.

There’s still a lot of really good value buys out there from older sets. I don’t think we’re anywhere close to the overall top.

Agreed, they are pretty neat. I was just shocked cause I was like maybe I'll get that Solgaleo tag team card, he's pretty cool. Then I looked it up and went "wait wut". Good to know about the full arts across the board.

The Sun & Moon era alt art cards are really awesome and will always be protected with super low PSA 10 pop, there just wasn't as much Sun & Moon out there as Sword & Shield and Scarlet & Violet. Scarlet & Violet English card quality is terrible and there is still massive numbers of PSA 10s compared to Sun & Moon. Thankfully I was collecting alot of Pokemon back then and grabbed every minty alt art tag team card I could afford, even grabbed a bunch of the hyper rainbow rares but those haven't exploded like the alt arts.

Congrats nice hit... I got lucky and was able to get 1 premium collection of prismatic at target today... everything else prismatic was sold out by the time it got to my spot in line...

Somehow seems even wilder out there than sw/sh hypebeast era. The unemployed loser demographic is out there in full force trying to make their thousand dollars per release flipping cards I guess.

I've seen videos of people camping out at gamestop for pokemon cards


I had already came to the conclusion I wouldn't be finding any prismatic...

I got lucky though I hit target in the afternoon to pick up some medicine and people were lined up inside to get pokemon... they had pretty much all the possible retail options but they were allowing people 3 items per person and they had to be 3 different types of items. When it got to me all that was left was the eevee premium collection. They ran out of the other stuff like 2 or 3 spots ahead of me..

For the record I did open it... luckily I was very happy with my hits so there was no regrets on opening it

Nice. This set does sound like quite a bloodbath. Wonder if its just because so many hits are shifted into godpacks vs. Terastal Fest with guaranteed hits.

Where I live it feels like pokemon in general is next to impossible to find... it don't matter what the set is like 99.9% of the time the only pokemon left on the shelves is battle decks...

Luckily for me the 0.1% of the time I have been able to find something the pack luck has been on my side. Like with the eevee premium collection I hit 3 special illustration rares...

It's a promo card that was only distributed out of Ito-Yokado department stores in Japan, April 1997.

Side note, I got some terastal fest SARs and put them next to my eevee from Prismatic. Jesus it's night and day. The English version is pretty muted, the edges are rainbow but not really reflective. Meanwhile the Japanese ones basically be looking like Skybox metal universe.

That's probably my favorite one. I think Sun and Moon is the last game I ever got into. The Alola mon don't seem to get a ton of love in the TCG.

I've been collecting Tag Teams for years but pretty much focused on Legendaries and OG 151 ones. Went through my Sun and Moon folder months ago and must have submitted about 100 GX, AA and others to PSA and sold a lot as they flew out of my store but kept quite a lot in my PC.

Here are some of my favorites. With BB and WF releasing the Zekrom/Reshiram card has gone nuts. I sold two of my PSA 10s just the GX version for almost $400 each.
