Even with his recent run, a .247 BABIP indicates he’s been unlucky so far. I’d imagine it will even out by the end of the season.

It’s a low BABIP but that’s also just a product of a pretty poor batted ball profile. His xBA is still 10 points lower than his actual average. That said, I suspect the illness explains some of it and it sure seems like his batted balls look a lot better this week than they did the weeks prior.

His bat is coming around, too. For a while there, it looked like basically needed to barrel a ball just right to the pull side to get it out. But going right center yesterday was a really good sign. Much better contact, too.

And yeah, in terms of short, I thought it was a bit of a dubious thing especially since Edman can handle the position just fine. But he looks like belongs out there.

When the mail comes tomorrow, I should have my complete true green run including image variations, for which I now just count the stupid sparkle. For some reason the 2017 true green never pops up...true green also helps in that it started his second year, so I don't have to pay through the nose for the RC.

Low key tougher run to complete because they just come up a lot less. Looking forward to seeing this.

Appreciate the kudos on the gold refractor run, thanks all!

That black refractor Mookie is SEXY. Very nice!

A shame they kept fussing with the black refractor print run or whether to print them or not over Mookie's career, that would be a fun run to get through.
